How is this move still in the game? A one hit melee kill that only requires you to get up to sprinting Speed? ridiculous. You should only be able to use it with a full melee charge.
I just recently ranked up Striker on my titan (my 3rd character) and after being killed by this cheap ass move countless times I now realize how easy it is to do. The worst is that you can kill someone, then run a little and kill someone else. That wouldn't happen if it took a charge.
Well, this post has been going on for over a week now and I still stand firm on my original opinion. Most try to bring up other classes, ways to counter a shoulder charge, the fact that melees are bugged and a lot of other things that are of way off the point to try and argue with me. Some reluctantly agree and some wholeheartedly. Some try to insult my intelligence which to me is funny because I'm never lacking of a good zinger. Some assume my intentions for this post and who I am, most if not all are wrong. We all know what happens when we assume right?
Shoulder charge, as it is, is a one hit melee kill that should require a charge even though it's in a different skill tree than the Striker melee. In fact, in the old Iron Banner bounties it counted towards the "10 melee kills" one. After the kill, the melee symbol appears on the top right of the screen. What more proof do you need? So after exhaustingly trying to keep the attention deficit population on the point I'm done with this post unwavered. Thank y'all for coming out.

64 RepliesIt's a crutch subclass. Only scrubs run it.
-
IMO it's situational at best. Just s*ck it up and keep playing.
-
1 ReplyIt's not in the melee perk tree, it's its own unique perk.
-
8 RepliesIt should cost a melee.
-
I can understand why it doesn't, but honestly you have a good point. Maybe people wouldn't be able to spam shoulder charges all -blam!-ing match
-
>Warlocks get Firebolt and burning melee >Hunters get smoke and vortex >Titans get shoulder charge and lighting grenades Every one gets an easy kill
-
This... still has not been addressed from Year One. Not at all. Probably because everyone got swept up with the rest of the bullshit moves people pull.
-
1 ReplyThe problem is that ppl (including myself who mains a Titan) keep trying to take them down instead of jumping out of their way. But once you dodge it you have pretty good chances to kill the Titan
-
While we're at it, remove any perk related to melees or supers. Otherwise, it needs to have a charge.
-
You know you can jump out of the way right? Shoulder charge isn't hard to dodge.
-
4 RepliesThe same argument can be made by the self res should it have less time to normal radiance
-
Shut it shade stepper
-
1 ReplyOk, then make it a melee ability which no charge up (like blink strike). That way I can have shoulder charge and unstoppable and still be able to use any exotic I want.
-
Because it fuels up on your tears and those of your huntard brothers.
-
If you can't counter someone shoulder charging its your own fault for getting in their way.
-
3 RepliesPeople like yourself already got my Titan bros Hammer Of Sol nerfed. Now you want their Shoulder Charge nerfed too? How about you go f#ck yourself.
-
5 RepliesAnother hunter main. Go figure.
-
I counter it with shade step or blink.
-
If it costs a melee then there can't be any charge up time. It will have to be usable at any time like suncharge. Sound good?
-
4 RepliesAll classes should have a way to survive it. Warlock with the ram striker with max armor. There should be other ways.
-
10 RepliesDo Titans get blink: No STFU
-
I hope to see you in crucible when i'm on my titan, I love shouldercharge, it's fun to use and pretty reckless since you can be killed so easy, but i think you are not that good with killing
-
Its a passive ability not tied to a melee
-
1 ReplyUp armour. Then you hit the dumb arsehole with a shotgun or sniper or fusion or sidearm or your own melee (sunsinger gets a shield which let's it survive with the majority of its health on HIT.... so do that. The BD will most likely blink strike and thanks to the stupid mechanics go through the titan and hit his back killing him in one, sunbreaker will burn it to death with absurd burn time.) or, there is one thing, but it's pure heresy........... wait. What?.... you all use the last word and thorn already.... oh then why are you complaing.
-
Because it's overpowered
-
It is a high risk move and many times fails. It doesn't need a nerf.
