A question to people of USA
Am from that the UK and want to ask a question.
Why are Americans so he'll bent on gun ownership. It's currently the 7 day into 2016 and already as of this moment 208 have been shot and killed 51 being under the age of 17 with there being two mass shooting....

We in European counties don't have 200 shootings in an entire year. Never mind in 7 days.
So my question is why do you all want so many guns when you have shocking statistics like that? I understand you have the second amendment but think logically there is only so many shootings because guns are so accessible, surely if you outlaw them like we have in Europe than the number of needless murders will fall also.

The UK and Australia are not connected to a country and/or continent that seeps drugs,prostitutes,guns, criminals and refugees ( talking about Mexico and to some extent the rest of South America.) over the border. Ban guns? You just gave the cartels an erection most pornstars would be jealous of. Those unmarked sweatshop AKs and saturday night specials will flood the US. Damn it's so funny how dumb people are. Why give MORE business to criminals? Banning weed, crack, cocaine, PCP, meth, heroin, bath salts, mollies and LSD sure as hell stopped rampant drug use. Oh wait it sure as hell didn't. Plus just like you can cook up drugs in a garage you can build guns in one too. It's not rocket science and criminals have the incentive to learn and build guns due to the lack of easy acess. Because of the reasons i just stated before easy acess will be once again established for criminals. Just be happy on your little island and be glad you aren't connected to Mexico.

13 RepliesIf people don't have guns, they will use something else to murder. But by taking guns away, innocent people lose the ability to protect themselves. Besides, criminals will still get guns regardless of the law because they are criminals and they don't care about the law. And finally, if the government takes all of the people's guns away, the people no longer have a way to defend themselves should the government become tyrannical.

Even if bearing arms here in the US was illegal, criminals would still get weapons just as easily; all they need are a few connections.

11 RepliesOkay, let me set up a scenario for you. If all the guns in the US are taken away within 24 hours, there would still be shootings. Why? Because guns will still come in from Mexico, Canada, and anywhere there's someone willing to smuggle things into the US and sell them on the black market. Also, gunsmiths are a thing. And you know what one of the highest used weapons in crimes? A baseball bat. Furthermore, tobacco use, medical errors, and drug abuse kill more people than guns do. I can't remember where I saw the stats, but you're either viewing this on a mobile device or a computer. Go look it up.
