Petition to drop pve from destiny
Please sign if you agree with the following. The pve in this game is terrible. It's just a repeat of the same thing. It's all ez to do.
The story is bleh at best. Without pve bungie can focus on making the pvp in this game top tier. They can probably give halo a run for their money in a year or two if they continued down said path. To top it off the pvp players play far more than the pve players and we would invest more money imho.

Either pull it out or add some -blam!-ing replay value in to it there is no reason to do patrol or the story and strikes get boring after a while Also with no real reason to get to max light level as it only minimally affects gameplay and damage in pve I only see my self on to do the nightfall and pvp with friends now

Honestly this games PVP will never be balanced because bungie is crappy at it, and the community is so immature and whiny that something is always needing to be nerfed. They [i]already are[/i] putting all their effort into PVP. It's quite obvious considering how many things have been changed due to PVP "balancing" with NO CONSIDERATION as to the effects that it would cause to PVE. (This is where I would put a list of things relating to this, but I really don't find it necessary) I mean, really. I don't understand how most people don't under stand this. (not directly addressing OP, just making a claim to the community) [u][b]There is always going to be a "best weapon" that the majority uses. One gun is going to kill easier than another, and people will use it. This. Will. Never. Change.[/b][/u] If instead of [i]constantly[/i] working on the next "balancing" patch, imagine if PVP [i]never existed.[/i] autos would be awesome, so would fusions, hammers, arc blade? (Probably would've gotten a buff lol), sunsinger would still rain grenades, shotguns would be viable, Vex Mythoclast (not much I need to say there). They could have put their focus into that "community wish list", there's SO many good ideas on that list... HOWEVER, since there IS PVP, and it's broken right now, when/if Bungie does come back, they're probably going to spend the next few months doing [u]nothing[/u] else, but trying to fix PVP, again. Sorry if this seems kinda rant-ish. Had some ideas building up in my head for some time now, kinda threw it all into one post

I love the PVE content in this game. The raids are why I keep playing. They are the most fun to me. Whether it's figuring out a raid for the first time or helping a new group through, it's almost always a blast.

The PvP is garbage because the game was designed around PvE. The abilities are hard to balance for PvP because they weren't built to fight each other. You'd literally just be asking for CoD.
