The Lag in Iron Banner is Unbearable and Inexcusable
Iron Banner is my favorite activity in Destiny, but at times it is unplayable. It has been 15 months since Destiny's release. If you care about your consumers, there are no legitimate excuses for not fixing the issue(s). You've probably made plenty of money selling silver and to date are not spending it creating new content in year two. I don't consider small scale holiday and/or limited time events new content.

7 RepliesI'm at Rank 5 now, out of all the games I played, the amount of times there was lag may have been 4-5 games. I get that everyone experiences it, however after a year now, with no changes to servers in the crucible... I think it's time to stop with the complaints about lag.

It's pretty horrendous. I shouldn't empty a full QT Mag onto a guy and get shotgunned in the face while he walks away full health. It provides some laughs though as well.

2 RepliesMake sure you report EVERY person with a red bar. I do. Whether it's intentional or not, when I blast 4 direct telesto shots into someone's face they BETTER NOT walk away. When they do theyre always red, so I report.

We saw this also. Could not even pick up ammo. People jumping all over my screen. My internet tested ant 168 meg download. Something went wrong for sure on the server end.

I know a lot of players who have stopped playing just because of this. No one wants to play sweatys every match

It is inexcusable. There is no defence for Bungie. Their matchmaking criteria is terrible.

Because although I've seen a few red bars here and there, I've had almost no lag issues during my IB. This morning I had 4 straight games of 12 green bars. Maybe I got lucky. (Or unlucky, because I got my ass handed to me). It does seem that ps4 players complain about this more often. Is it more prevalent on sonys network?

I play BO3. They basically ripped off supers from destiny. God I remember the Destiny lag. I like Destiny but refuse to play cause they put out a totally online game without dedicated servers. I don't want to become a statistic of their online players.

2 RepliesWhat lag? If there was lag Bungie would be sure to fix the problem. They fixed the log book issue overnight. Ohhh, that's right. We're just a cash crop and fixing the problem would COST money. BungieVision has become a straight forward, textbook run business where maximized shareholder profits are all that matter. They suckered $160 out of us just to play what was developed before day 1 and now they're selling the scraps from the cutting room for cash. They're going to find out in the long run that customer satisfaction still matters and people are going to stop buying from them. (I hope we're all smart enough to do this anyways)

3 RepliesJust an FYI- Bungie is a company that will put its public Image above anything else .. It's easier to ignore lagging and cheating that it is to actually deal with it .. So long as they say all the right things and act like they are doing something .. That's all that's needed .. Your experience rates a distance 100,000,000 times behind their desire to protect its image.. Why do I say this? Well actively pursuing lag switchers and cheater could open up a huge avenue for legal actions and grievances from gamers who feel wronged, also the unlikely possibility that one of their own or a associate (sponsored gamer ) is implicated could be devastating to their image . We as gamers would see this as actively looking out for gamers and gamer concerns , Bungie see this as consumers or media spreading the news NOT to buy the game due to Bungie actively targeting innocent player and having their accounts banned ect .. So they will continued to make statement about ninjas and whatnot but never produce any proof nor that anyone ever gets banned ..
