Funny to see all the hate against snipers now. What did you people expect? After every primary gun in the game that could oppose them was nerfed, of course snipers were going to reign supreme. They have pretty much nothing to fear anymore, no Thorn, no high impact pulse rifles, no high impact auto rifles, no shotguns and soon they will have no MIDA to worry about either if all the pissing of pants continues on this forum about MIDA. Sniping once revered as a "skill" has been devolved to "aim assist" pussies that camp in corners. I'll tell you a secret 1000 yard stare is no better or worse than previous DLC snipers that has 31 or more impact in regards to it's aim assist and scopes available to it. The Supremacy, LDR 5001, Long Bow, Her Benevolence and Shadow of Veils were never cried about in previous patches. They all have roughly the same amount of aim assist. Some have even more like Shadow of Veils and The Supremacy, yet no one bitched about them. "But you can get Short Gaze scope on 1k Stare for more aim assist" you say? Guess what? You could get those very same scopes on all the snipers I just listed, hell Shadow of Veils came with that scope by default and it had a aim assist value of 69 by default before factoring in Short Gaze scope. 1K Yard Stare only has 56 aim assist rating. You didn't see all these kids tossing their binkies out of their cribs over that in HoW DLC. Why? Because there were primary weapons that could keep snipers in check like Thorn and high impact pulse rifles along with shotguns that did some serious work in close like FelWinter's Lie. This forum never changes, the bad kids always cry about what kills them. What's worse is that Bungie listens to them and nerfs what they are crying about the most. The cycle never ends, kids always cry about XXX gun or XXX subclass. It's time for some of you to own up to the fact that you are just not as good as you think you are in PvP. The better players always kill the lesser ones and the lesser ones cry and misguide their frustration to some magical thing they can't control or conjure up some bullshit reason like "aim assist" is too high on snipers when in reality it's actually lower than it was previously. All you trolls crying for nerfs brought this on yourselves. You reap what you sow now it's time for the harvest. You all wanted primary weapons to be garbage and you mostly got your wish. Have fun trying to stop snipers with the pea shooters you made primary weapons into.
