I find that people die when fighting the shape. What do people do to reduce the chance of death when fighting the shade of Oryx during the final fight of the Raid.
I've played with people who drop a bubble, but I've discovered that it be a hindrance and can waste the clock. I've seen people shoot arrows at the shade, but it sometimes causes him to swing like a wild animal 4+ times in a row.
I just want to see if there is something truly creative out there.

Use snipers, don't miss headshots and switch to heavy when he moves to slam. Never tether him in middle, wait for after he reappears at the edge after slam.
-
You'd only want to tether him when he's on the edges, aka not swinging in because he'll do it twice. Blessings should only really be necessary if someone on the team's really low health. Other than that, sniper headshots and machine guns make quick work of it.

Shoot it

2 RepliesWe usually have at least one hunter in the group with tether. Always wait until he reappears in the distance after slamming to tether. This not only allows more people to damage him while tethered, but if you tether him while he has the sword he'll roam around longer and be more unpredictable. Sometimes, he'll even slam a second time if you tether him immediately after the first slam before he has a chance to leave the middle area. Bubble with blessing can help but that's only necessary if people are about to die and need it or the first few people inside don't do enough DPS. If there's an extra Titan that isn't on Ogres and doesn't need a blessing bubble, then they can feel free to drop a bubble with either blessing or WoL if they feel like it while in the shade. Other than that, all I use is my raid machine gun and ToM. I just make sure to reload. Once the echo is nearly dead I go ahead and fire my double damage rounds if my health is close to full. Another tip. If you're inside and the echo comes in with the sword, announce it so people know to jump if they get teleported in at that point. Nothing worse than dying the second you get in there. I've seen times where it's impossible to avoid though. Also, always listen for yourself to know when the echo is coming in. You can't always depend on people to announce it. You can hear everything happening inside from the outside pretty well. Bonus tip. Pop a 3 of coins before each shade round. You have a chance at an exotic every time the echo is killed. This way, at least if you're team is at least getting through a few rounds before wiping, you're getting exotics every now and then.

No secret for this, just point aim and shoot. When he charges, jump along the outside of dome like your doing a lap around it. Use your sniper If ads are out of control I shoot a tether but normally not necessary. Don't panic! Most people die during the fight simply because they can't control their emotions, they let their heart beat rapidly and lose focus and then do something stupid and die. One phase at a time

Never tether when he's inside
-
Shoot at him he is so full ng easy usually does before last 2 get in
-
Don't suck
-
aim down sight and shoot
-
Blessing of light + touch of malice , or snipes are very strong , tether before he enters the platform and he will not slam twice , tether after he enters causes him to slash twice
-
Titan bubble + touch of malice
-
Have someone identify where he is out on the edge of the zone, and call it out. Then use whatever heavy weapon of choice on him as he comes in....then get the hell out of the way. Have one team member with a sword to clear out any ads that make their way into zone. I usually do sword duty.

Snipe him in da head
-
I use sniper and machine gun. After he slams wait until he goes to the outside than tether him.
