We ask for sparrow racing, we get it now there's crying about it...why is the destiny community similar to the kid who got mad because his favorite band made it big and mainstream?

It was asked for over a year ago and most likely planned to be in the game but then scrapped. Plus it's only for 3 weeks? Why? I'm getting more and more uninterested in the lackluster content. The grind for light level is not compelling.

Sparrow racing for 3 weeks? Bungie needs to git gud and put in more permanent content that thus game desperately needs.

It's for three weeks so that they can test the waters to see if it's going to be a good idea that they'll keep, and with everyone shitting all over it because it's not an expansion, they won't want to keep it up.

It's the removal of content that will kill this game. We already see this with content being removed if you don't own TTK.

This a response to a parent post. However content like sparrow racing needs to be more permanent, not just three weeks. Perhaps it will be monthly but this game needs more stable content is Bungie wants to keep player invested in this game.

Oh I agree. The amount of content created for this seems like a lot to be just a one time event, I think it's a 3 week trail and afterwards it will be reworked into a more permanent mode.

You'd expect that after the flop of TTK there woulda been a sneak peak at Destiny 2, the upcoming Vex DLC, perhaps Cabal, something meaningful! Introducing sparrow races right now is too little too late, and very underwhelming. Deej didn't have to waste his time getting off his sofa to go to PSX to say sparrow racing is here, he coulda typed that in the stupid weekly fluffdate. But to overhype a big announcement at PSX and deliver an underwhelming sparrow race is pathetic.

Sparrow racing should have been a side mode a long time ago the only reason it sounds good to bungie now is because they can incorporate it with eververse trading to make more money, also me specifically I didn't ask for shit to do with racing. I didn't get destiny for sparrow racing I would grab a racing game if I wanted that. Look I'm not against the sparrow racing I think it's poorly timed though considering we are in a huge content drought. It's sad to see Dev time going to this rather than other major issues going on in the game or new fresh content that consists of shooting because guess what I would imagine we all bought this game for the shooting aspect not the racing.
