Yeah, I have no idea what any of this means. I could only decipher three key points-
1. There was a Warlock you couldn't kill
2. There was a Sunbreaker at some point
3. You still got killed by the Warlock.
What is the problem?

No lag either I checked

Sorry my bad sun breaker part was messed up. I shot a guy who tried to use nova bomb but he wasn't killed and I died. Later I saw a sun breaker , I shoot him with my shadow shot and he walks away clean and does not lose his super and kills me after.

Edited by besetbyflames: 12/1/2015 10:52:08 PMIf you shot him during his Nova bomb animation, during the animation they have high damage resistance. If you shot the tether to far away from the Sunbreaker or directly at him while in super it's quite possible he didn't get tethered. Even if it was lag there is no accurate way to check, that red bar only is an indicator of their connection to the Destiny servers. The servers themselves are very poor and the bars will jump all over the place at any given time. The only way to guarantee you have a solid connection with Destiny servers is to live in areas like Seattle where they have Internet speed faster than light itself.

I have one other question for you then since you seem like knowledgeable person when doing the shadow shot animation is there any armor buff at all similar to the nova bomb super?
-
Sadly no, mainly because it's a mobile super. You can travel a good distance. The only mobile supers that get dmg res are Storm callers, Sunbreaker and Bladedancer.
-
Ultimately though you if you use quiver you have 7 seconds to fire all three arrows and each arrow takes .25 of your super bar or a quarter of it.

Wow I feel like that makes shadow shot a little less useful in PvP sure having quiver is in a way like golden gun but with that super there's no need for a armor buff golden gun has a good balance between other supers. I love my Nightstalkers in pve, I'm able to do very well with my hunter and help provide some support for my team mates, but pvp kind of feels like we got the short end of the stick a little bit, but I guess for now I guess I have my wit and speed to help in pvp

It's not for getting kills, it's primarily for supporting your team. You save your arrows for a sunbreaker/Storm callers, then pop your arrow next to them to suppress their super. Pretty neat, but I prefer Gunslinger. Certainly viable in trials vs. Three hammers though.
