As someone who has an actual life (like grown up stuff, y'know... a partner I enjoy spending time with, family and friends, a job), I don't find myself able to commit my every waking moment to the pursuit of endless endgame loot. As a result I've got a respectable enough 305 Warlock but my Hunter scrapes in at 298 and the unspoken-of ginger stepchild Titan is even lower.
Now I love me some Iron Banner, same as the next guy but I DON'T love banging my head against a wall which is effectively what taking on a 315 enemy with a lowly 298 equates to and I don't see any real chance of bridging the gap any time soon.
I realise there's not really much that can be done as the level advantages are part of the point of IB but in year one, only having the one raid set for max level kept it in check and whilst I can hold my own against 303-307's, the extra leap to the heroic geared opponents is just too much.
Personally, I doubt I'll bother with any further IB unless I magically find an extra 20 hours spare a week and a large group of people I enjoy playing with that are available at any given time to push my characters up to the indestructible 310+ that is realistically now required and that's a real shame as I genuinely do enjoy it a lot more than standard Crucible.
Hey ho, just my opinion.

2 RepliesI ran my skull mask in IB, (290) still finished top 3, no one cares for your "real life adult" responsibilities. You had enough time to read posts and type yours....you could have grinded a few strikes or ran to an oryx checkpoint. Uninstall your game and go back to a casual phone app.
