I have one female character and that's my Titan. I do not particularly care for awoken male models, and I wanted one of each race and class. Female titans are not oversexualized and do not wear a snuggie around them like hunters.

Fact is most of us would rather look at the female form, even the women.

I think it's just aesthetics. My characters are male but in RPGs its role playing so I customize the characters to as close to my looks as possible. Being a heterosexual male I get that some guys would rather look at woman's physique rather than a mans physique. It boils down to looking at a guy all day or looking at a girl all day or going the RPG route and putting the characters features as close to yours as possible.
