• Standing in the Shade I step off the vertibird, holding my arm up to shield my eyes from the dust. I may be in power armor, but the eyepieces were missing. As the aircraft takes off, I look around me, grinning. The Mojave was a place of beauty, in its own right. I begin my trek to New Vegas. It wasn't that far before I reached the gates, where I halted to see it guarded by the Desert Foxes. The group led by Him. The one who they called the Boogeyman, for Six, or the Courier. Alex Wilson. A name feared all across the Wasteland of the United States.

He smiled at the tone as he immediately recognized who it was then started walking east listening to the news and humming whatever music came one (Open)

    • Main Story Chapter 1: Stongholds and Dominions Location: The Commonwealth After the events with the sole survivor of Vault 111, the Brotherhood of Steel have advanced to it's fullest potential. The Prydwen hovers above the Commonwealth. Clamping from the foot soldiers are heard as they march through the storm-filled conditions. Mud splashes across among the power armor's might as rain drips down forward the helmet's visor. Armed with the best of the best for wasteland standards. Paladin Jackson walks along side one of their Sentinel, James Gonzalez. "Sir, what now?" "We find the Institute, no matter the costs." "Yes, sir." A group of raiders are prowling about among the alley ways as they emerge, they are ripped apart by the weapons the Brotherhood have current possession of. Two Vertibirds soar trough the air, bearing the Brotherhood's insignia. People from about the areas have reported sightings of Enclave Remnants presence. The Brotherhood found it bogus that there are such sightings. "Enclave are here, well that's impossible." Three other vertibirds come about, but are not affiliated with the Brotherhood nor the Gunners. These vertibirds attack the Brotherhood vertbirds as the two go down, they hit a nearby complex, they then engulf in flames. "What..?" "Impossible." The three vertibirds then take off. Sentinel Gonzalez now furious turns to the others. "Pursue them!" Him and ten troops start sprinting down the empty streets of Lexington.
Open.
• "Remnants rebuilding": Enclave Remnants Possible recruitment chance In the Commonwealth, reports of the Enclave Remnants' presence have been popping up all over. The click of a .44 Magnum's hammer goes off. Issac Montgomery and his units emerge from Vault 81, blood splashed across their worn power armor. He holsters the magnum as he looks up at the sky, seeing the Brotherhood of Steel's Prydwen. "When. The. F*ck. Did they get that...?" "They're formidable, if there's one thing their good at, it's evolving." *Sigh* "I guess." "At least we got the supplies needed for repairs and such." The heavy armor weighs them down, making a single step thunderous. Having little knowledge of the Commonwealth, they have yet to expect all of the dangers... Recruitment Chance: Low
Open if want to try out.
A man screamed as he ran as fast as he could, weaving through the destroyed cars on the collapsing highway, before running straight into a massive Radroach, the Roach jumped up and clamped down on the man's arm, enveloping his entire arm. He slammed the Roach onto multiple different cars, trying to desperately shake it off before he were to lose his arm, before a shot ringed out, and the head of the Roach exploded. Prologue "War...war never changes. Through my time in the military I've seen harsh things, very harsh things, and those things I shall never forget. Fighting China was just scratching the surface, we never thought they would succumb to nuclear warfare. They hit Pennsylvania and New York first, sending the entire country into chaos. Then, America sent theirs over, destroying everything. Sadly, China didn't have shelters like the citizens in America did--also known as Vaults. Ah, Vault Tech...those poor bastards had no idea what was happening. Some, if not all, weren't aloud to get inside the Vaults, even though they helped make them." "Soon, the entire country was destroyed by nuclear fallout. The wealthy or the people the government deemed important, were put into Vaults. They stayed there, not allowed to go outside due to all of the radiation. But, of course, sanctuary does come with a price, Vault Tech used the Vaults as experiments on the civilians inside. Only a few though, were used for actual survival, but, if you were in an experimental Vault, you could lose your sanity. Possibly become psychotic. A few people did finally leave their Vaults though, exploring the Wasteland, their new life." "Some random military groups decided to make a new faction, they wanted to take technology for themselves so they could use it later. Their name is, The Brotherhood of Steel. They originated in the West, then slowly moved there way across the Wasteland, taking down anyone that apposed a threat to them. Until, they came to The Commonwealth, where they would soon find a mysterious place, the location unknown to many. The Institute." "The Institute is a place of legend, a place where some foul beings created Synths--Synthetic human beings--to do their dirty work for them. They would be sent above ground to eliminate any human life forms they came across. Hoping that one day, they could change the world for the better, a world in which everyone is the same. Where everyone..is a Synth." "Because I know from experience that WAR...WAR NEVER CHANGES."

NCR Chapter one "Standing My Ground": Location: Hoover Dam, Nevada General Lee Oliver continues leading on the New California Republic even twelve years after the Battle for Hoover Dam. Heavy infantry forces guard the Hoover Dam to keep it from their enemies. NCR veteran rangers are now the bulk of the Hoover Dam's guard. A Ranger in the name of Captain Jacob Custer walks up to Gen. Oliver to speak. "Sir, any sight of the Legion or... Brotherhood?" "None, Captain. Why do you ask?" "Well, there's been reports of the Brotherhood in the Mojave, Commonwealth and the Barren City." "We need those power armor troopers." "Yes sir." Rangers of any type check on caravans and wanderers to make sure there certified to pass through the dam. Never the less, the NCR are now always on the lookout for anything suspicious. Outside of the Hoover Dam seems to be much bigger. The Enclave Remnants are beginning to recruit others to the Enclave cause. Vertibirds start launching up in the air bearing the Enclave insignia, their name shall be heard once more. A traveler, a wanderer, factionless but still capable of handling certain tasks on his own. The Traveler walks up to the dam with only leather armor and a cowboy repeater, a Veteran Ranger spots the Wanderer. "You there! We need to check for certification!" "For what sir?" "Diseases, Radiation, if your apart factions we disapprove of." "Go ahead." "I'm going to ask for your name and it is?" "Clyde Harrison, sir." "Alright then." The Ranger checks on Clyde, moments later the Ranger gives his results. "You are free of disease, radiation and are factionless. Move along, Clyde." The Ranger sidesteps, letting Clyde into the dam. NCR soldiers eye Clyde as he passes through the dam.
Open and this is a chance to meet my character Clyde Harrison.
I saw the light of the buildings shining over the horizon, and saw a few vertibirds marked with the monotone blue emblem that marked the Midwestern Brotherhood. • Rich Man, Poor Man, Beggar Man, Thief New Vegas, Mojave Wasteland The Courier stood on the Lucky 38's balcony, overlooking the city before him, the city he had conquered nearly nine years ago. The fighting at Hoover Dam had been vicious, but he had taught the NCR not to rattle his cage. Hundreds of their men fell to him, Rangers, marksmen, regular troopers, even Kimball hadn't survived. The Legion fared no better, loosing both Caesar and the Legate. He butchered them like the dogs they were, freed their slaves, and sent them running. The Legion were a disease to him, one curable only through death. His travels around the wastes took him all across America, from Boston to DC, and even Chicago, but in the end, he ended up settling right back down into the city he had conquered. He made himself governor, and managed to recruit a power group of mercenaries from all over the Mojave to support his power and protect the city. Desert Foxes, they called themselves. Fast, brutal, not to be trifled with, but they were hiring. The Courier sat thinking about his plans for the city's protection, and his mind wandered back to his life and exploits. The armor he wore, T-60E, was taken from a Brotherhood of Steel Paladin, his Enclave X-01 MKVII helmet salvaged from a trading post he massacred. His shoulder-mounted machine gun, an M2HB he had stolen from the Boneyard. Both of his magnums and his shotgun were trophies from NCR Rangers. The MG3 he carried, was a weapon he found in DC on an old military freighter, from some place called Germany. The cloak he wore, came from a man who tried to break him. That man wore the flag of the Ild World, and after earning that flag with blood, the Courier pulled it from the man's corpse. Courier Six's name was known and rightfully feared across the wasteland for things like this. His name was Alex Wilson.

It wasn't much longer before I finished, and then I put the rifle on my bed, pulling my combat knife out of my boot, I pull a new clean paper towel out and wipe the blade, getting the blood from the Raider's throat off the Serrated edge. I don't even know why raiders call themselves human, they don't have the basic sense of what is right and what is wrong to earn that title. Humanity wasn't a joke, you don't -blam!- with us, because we're brutal. It's an all out war, is what this nation's like. A war fought on multiple front by multiple groups. War, war never Changes. The players change, the tools change, and the setting changes. But the basic fundamentality of war? The core of it? It doesn't change because humans are creatures of instinct. We resort to what we know when faced with adverse situations. So here I sit, left with the -blam!- up of some assholes with nukes 2 centuries ago.
