Why does everyone keep saying it?
"Bladedancer was nerfed so bad, no one uses it!"
Besides Grenades and Blink being nerfed(which also affected warlocks) the super itself has never been nerfed. Ever.
If anyone can find me patch notes that have proof that the Bladedancer super was nerfed then please do so.
Oh, and don't give me that "Secret Nerf" bullshit. I wanna see concrete proof.
Edit; My point is that Arcblade never received an "armor nerf" or "health nerf". There are absolutely no patch notes or articles that state it.
Edit 2: https://youtu.be/J8C6zq617oM a video detailing Arcblade year one and year two! Credit goes to Eugeine. Please bring this to light. The 2.0 update has messed around with the Arcblade in general. That isn't fair and should be fixed as soon as possible.

2 RepliesObviously you're new, or never used the subclass

The power of blink was a major contributor to bladedancer power, it seems they are grounded more often and easier to pop in the noggin
-
1 ReplyIt definitely feels like the blade tracks less aggressively and you get short stopped more often. As far as proof, I don't have any besides my personal observations.
-
They nerf blink jump as same warlock
-
3 RepliesNo patch notes needed. The proof is in the pudding, as they say. Bladedancer used to have invincibility frames during each swing of the arc blade. LITERAL invincibility. As in taking no damage from a rocket launcher. Bungie fixed it. Go try it out for yourself.

3 RepliesArmour was reduced. Don't remember when but it was a while ago. Bladedancers used to be unkillable unless you had Invective or Fourth Horseman
-
5 RepliesBut arc bolt grenades and blink MADE blade dancer and now they both got pretty much nerfed into the ground. The only good things about blade dancer now are back stab and quick draw. Arc blade is god awful for PvP and if you actually think its good you've probably never used it tbh

2 RepliesEdited by Shadow71399: 11/8/2015 2:20:16 PMHunter Gunslinger Golden Gun Damage increased (350 -> 360) to ensure it consistently killed opponents in the Crucible Bladedancer Arc Blade can now generate up to 6 Orbs when geared with exotic armor that increase orb spawning rates Blink movement ability activation delay increased by 0.07 seconds (0.26 seconds to 0.33 seconds) Blink movement ability visuals now changed to better telegraphing direction: clearer activation FX and trail FX Blink Strike now does Arc Damage Arc Bolt grenades (Thermal and Arc) damage reduced by 25% to 75 damage Arc Bolt Range reduced by 11% to 8 meters Flux Grenade tracking shape volume has been changed to reduce tracking aggressiveness This is the only thing i could find, taken from September 8 2015 patch notes. Although ever since ttk came out bladedancer in general feels very much weaker and even though there are no patch notes talking about an arc blade nerf, it definitely has a shorter duration than in the past.

Don't care if the super was untouched, you act as if we get unlimited supers, the grenades are a key factor as well as blink. If u can't move around correctly getting a super is moot.
-
Armour was reduced. Don't remember when but it was a while ago. Bladedancers used to be unkillable unless you had Invective or Fourth Horseman
-
Bladedancer used to have damage reduction on par with sunbreaker while in super
-
4 RepliesAre you serious? You just said blink was nerfed which mean BD was nerfed considering it's a melee super and blink closed the distance to targets.
-
They reduced its damage resistance in the first month. If you've ever played pvp in that first month bladedancers were stupidly difficult to kill and you felt invincible while using it. Teamwipes were not only achievable but fairly frequent. Golden gun was also nerfed as a part of the first nerf to handcannons (the one that did pretty much nothing) but it was only noticeable in pve. Bungie's patch notes are notorious for their incompleteness compared to any other game's patch notes. They're really more like patch notes notes. For instance: pre 2.0 you could kill yourself by shooting water at your feet. Post 2.0 you can't. Not in the patch notes.

4 RepliesEdited by FearingDeath: 11/8/2015 1:40:43 PMI concur, I hear this all the -blam!-ing time but where are the patch notes? All I see is a to nerf bolt grenades and blink. Both of which affect warlocks as well.

This. It's still the best overall PvP class. And evertime I watch a bit of Kraftyys stream I'm asking myself where the eff is that super nerfed at?
-
4 RepliesIt was nerfed heavily. How do you not know this.
-
They get "nerfed" every time the connections get "fixed" Their old ability to tank shit relied heavily on lag, and it used to be MUCH worse than it is now.
-
I think they reduced the shield you got and a bit of the recovery slightly. That's what I've noticed since after the nerf anyways aha
