  • TLDNR but got the gist of it. Any game with gun play [b]must[/b] have some basis in reality for handling and ballistics, they must be balanced in game or we'd be sniping with pistols (oh wait that did happen) and taking out tanks with shotguns (oh wait that happened too). Destiny's intended design of weapon type is loosely based on optimal damage range: (Not including Heavy) Snipers, Scouts, Pulse, Hand Cannon, Auto Rifle, Fusion, Sidearm, Shotgun There is designed overlap from perks but overlap too far and you wind up with an unbalance. Current pulse rifle is a good example. They damage falloff for Pulses is too far and it's infringing on Scout range. That's why they're being used so much in PvP

  • It's a game lol plus they don't have energy shield or any gun manufacturer like suros or revolvers that shoot spikes. You're better off playing old CoD or Rainbow Six if you want a realistic shooter.

  • Dark, I'm not saying it's not real, or that the lack of reality is something a dislike, or did you just scan my post? All that I'm trying to communicate, and sorry if its clear, is that the changes that have been made, are afecting too much the way we(or I) play the game, or are you a day one player? Because I'm with over 1800 hours on this game, That said, I have better good records both on PVE and PVP, and I love this game, Don't just dissmiss me to another CoD, I believe that's not fair on your part. I'm asking for the Destiny/Bungie/Activision team to revisit come of these old changes. That is all.

  • I could only scan through it cus it's mostly just rambling nonsense. If you're to make a rant, go back over it and see if it makes sense. I'm still not sure what you're trying to achieve with this post. You compare the guns on here to real life guns which doesn't make sense.

  • Dark Fluxx, Guns exist because we have build them in real life. They have to at least resemble a certain percentage of what they are in real life? Dont you think, and sorry for my grammer, and maybe spelling, but english is not my first language, as you can tell by my name.

  • We've also built hammers and swords. Do they explode when thrown or and incinerate a persons whole body on impact?

  • No because bullets are more effective in real life, that is why I'm only making a very small suggestions, and not making it real life exact match. It's a game and I love this one and play the hell out of, but there are part from reality and part's from pure fiction, I just a question of more balance, it does not matter if its fiction/real/futuristic/oldschool. Auto rifle should beat anything on mid range, mid to long you should be able to challage with Pulse, Long range Scout/Sniper, and Close range Sidearms/Shotgun/Handcannons that is real balance. That is all...
