If you haven't beaten oryx on hard mode yet...
You probably have a job, family and social commitments. Well done on prioritising and putting more important things first!

Edit: so I just found out I have scrubitis, I have been diagnosed by the destiny doctors here. I'm booked into a git gud centre, hopefully I can pull through this.

I've lost any and all desire to do raids and nightfalls since TTK. Idk why, just not my thing anymore. Think the burn out is finally kicking in. How much more can i do this if i don't raid? We'll see. I don't have that chunk of time to give uninterrupted. Usually. It would have to be scheduled and that's hard to do. Another hobby has chewed into my game time and work has been relentless and highly complex. Good job though, very very good job.

I've only done about 2 normal raids a piece on my characters. It's not a huge priority for me - it's mainly to put better stats into the items I have that I like more than the samey looks of the other gear. Warlock Chest was the only real piece that I wanted.

I have only done normal mode up to war priest. Let alone hard mode oryx!

I haven't even done normal hue. Furthest I've get is daughters. Now warzone is demanding my time for them gold packs so no time left to try and do it :(

How about if I never even tried the new raid ever? I went from doing both of the others twice a week to not doing the new one once. Here's why, NO ELEMENTAL DAMAGE RAID WEAPONS. That's the only reason. I just see no point in spending so much time if I can't even get an edge.

Wish I could say this was the case. But the reality is I simply can't find 6 people who are all equipped and prepared at the same place and same time. That and a majority of my friends play on Xbox, and don't play destiny.

1 ReplyI have a job, family and social commitments and will always prioritize those first. However, I have still beat Oryx on hard on all my characters each week. I am lucky to have good friends that can carry me I suppose :P

1 ReplyI mean I'm one who doesn't much like banging my head against a wall, and I'm no pro player. So I really try to play the game at or above recommended levels. When it comes to oryx I would just rather level up to 310+ and clear it at level rather than wipe for an hour before beating him. Personal preference though, I'm just in no hurry to finish all that Destony has to offer. I guess in more about enjoying the game rather than hunting the loot.
