30FPS vs 60FPS, Wow, what a difference
So going back and forth between Halo 5 and Destiny you can definitely tell the difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS. It's almost painful to look at Destiny. It takes about 30 minutes before my eyes adjust to the 30 FPS. Everything is extremely choppy. Almost as if time is standing still.
Destiny 2 needs to be in 60 FPS.
EDIT: THIS IS NOT A HALO 5 VS DESTINY THREAD. They are both great in their own regards. I am strictly talking about framerate

Absolutely. Destiny 2 BETTER have 60 frames per second.

I think it was versusthestream that was saying 60 is just too much and he liked the 29.94 or whatever it was of halo 3.

1 ReplyThe preferred medium for movies is actually 24 fps so yeah only ever in video games is it that fast for obvious reasons so yeah there is a difference but it doesn't really matter

3 RepliesSeams like you never played COD before to realize that 1 year ago. halo just have crappy pvp maps compared to destiny, it's almost Counter strike maps to get the 60 fps.

2 RepliesWith this generation of consoles, 60fps requires a dial-down of textures and graphics so as not to over-burden the processors. It certainly makes for a more fluid experience, but in my own sole opinion, Halo had to give up too much for the sake of framerate. Fun is fun - so enjoy what you like to play; but don't pretend that 60fps is just some magical "thing" - there are real tradeoffs that developers have to make.

60 fps, dedicated servers, balance, ranking / matchmaking system similar to halo 5. Destiny would lead the charts for multiplayer. How hard is it to see for developers and publishers the demand is there and people are willing to pay for it.

Yeah the only reason it's 30 is to make sure the old gen doesn't look horrible compared to next gen. 60 fps should definitely be in next years iteration of destiny
