Have you been under a rock? Luke Smith said there will no longer be primarys that do burn damage...ever. So there isn't any point in wishing they would.

I didn't see that interview until now. Makes sense but then why not have HM exotic primaries with damage types (like the Supercell) that are slightly more difficult to obtain like the Crota Autorifle. That at least would make it worth grinding out HM week after week.
