PETITION TO ALLOW THE PURCHASE OF WEAPON PARTS FROM GUNSMITH
Being able to purchase weapon parts from the gunsmith only makes sense... Sign if you agree.

Haven't had any issues obtaining weapon parts since the release of Destiny. In fact, my Warlock is only 4 days old and I haven't ran into a single problem getting the weapon parts I needed. That being said, I do agree the Gunsmith should have weapon parts for sale for the people who [b]are[/b] struggling with this aspect of the game. Not everyone has the time to grind for gear to dismantle and I can understand that. There's only one problem, and it's called Bungie. Taking into consideration their moronic logic this past year, they don't add a new mechanic without nerfing something. Meaning, if they did allow players to buy weapon parts, they'd probably make it so that upgrading weapons required 4x or 5x the amount of weapon parts than normal. Or maybe even make it so weapons wouldn't drop weapon parts when dismantled. Again, I do agree this should be added to the game, but Bungie has a horrible track-record when it comes to patches. They won't give you something without taking something from the game.

This!! This is one of the most annoying parts to upgrade weapons. The only place to get them is from farming... And then most of the engrams I get are armor. Hell, even a one to one exchange for armor materials to weapon parts and vise versa would be excellent!
