Treasures of the Lost are not cosmetic only
Pay-to-win has come to "Destiny". As part of the Festival of the Lost, players can use silver to purchase Treasures of the Lost. This random package could include items that speed up weapons upgrades and glimmer farming. So, remember when Bungie said silver would only be used for cosmetic items? Well, they aren't.
Micro-transactions are a slippery slope. The community needs to keep Bungie from going down that slope. Make your voices hear. Raise a ruckus. Let the Bungie faithful assail your revulsion of micro-transactions and pay-to-win. Let them see your resolve. Until Bungie relents and goes back to making "Destiny" the game it should be, we hold the line.

Edit: Keep responding. "STFO, "Never go full . . .", "You're an idot". It's all there already. Every reply bumps this post and keeps the pressure on Bungie to avoid going pay-to-win. And yes, I know some Guardians would love it if "Destiny" went pay-to-win and they could just buy a Gjallarhorn 3.0, but that's not the game I bought.

They're for glimmer and leveling up weapons faster....... I burned them after i got them just to clear my inventory. They're worthless.....

These consumables go away once festival of the lost goes away. It's not like the mechanic for speeding up upgrades and glimmer farming materials aren't already in the game to begin with

Oh, so I can speed up weapon use. You know, the exact same as the thing that costs 250 glimmer. And speed up glimmer use. Just like those consumables I have 100000000000s of. Not worried. Just ready for the event to be over so my inventory can stop being so bloated with the same item that doesn't stack with the rest.

And if you are so limited on the real items in game that do the same exact thing then you should go out and do some patrol missions. I myself have nearly 150-200 of each damn glimmer farm item. And another thing the weapon upgrades are cheap as -blam!- from the gunsmith. you must not play the game very much to even look for like 30 seconds at an npcs inventory.

you can spend up to five dollars for these packages or you can spend 2 minutes get the glimmer and buy a telemetry and use the infinite amount of motes you have. if you are buying these things for the weapon upgrades then you shouldn't be allowed to have money.
