I'm getting tired of Destiny, but I dont want to
Just for the record, I do like the game, this post is not meant to complain.
I just don't agree with everything they have done post-ttk
its a concern we should discuss and made aware of, so we can get a even better game in the end
The more and more i play TTK, the more i get tired of the game.
every damn drop is 26x or 27x, why bother decoding, there is nothing that i can use.
drop rates/rewards are terrible.
only endgame is the raid. (the only place to get higher rated items for infusion)
exotics locked away with too hard quests. (crucible quest, insane Black Spindle)
unlimited grinding. light level on weapons, forcing me to use my highest rated weapons.
looks like the loot system is broken to me. no way Bungie would make it so time consuming/grind to only get low level or the same gear over and over till you had enough and are just pissed off, no game should make you feel like you are losing
but heres the thing, I'm not actually bored of the game it self. but i get fed up at the loot/drop that i feel no reward/winning or progression.
that makes we want to give up.
and there is content that i will never get because its locked behind a unreachable mode i cant do,(not talking about Raids) and that again makes me feel like im losing, and i hate not going to do Destiny 100%

I love this game but am also getting really bored with it, got to oryx on hard mode on all 3 characters then we're so over it by then didn't even bother trying to kill him. I agree the loot system is worse than before. If I get more chest pieces from raid this week I'm going to scream. And stuff should drop at your level light or higher it's s joke wearing a 318 chest then getting another 310 the next boss! Give me stuff I need. Rant over :)

I'd bet they take infusion out at some point. IMO its a convoluted system. I guess what they were aiming for was to make Destiny sustainable in the long run so players could have even normal mode raid drops stay relevant.

That puts you a whopping three points shy of the pre-Heroic maximum for The Taken King in only a handful of weeks. That's anything but a grind. I'm curious which Crucible quest you're saying is "too hard" to complete. Are you talking about the Chaperone? The First Curse? Each are doable even if you're not some MLG pro Crucible player. I'd say I'm a good example; I sit at around 1.2 K/D overall and still completed the latter without a problem. I'm almost done with the Chaperone quest, but haven't spent the time in the Crucible to get those shotgun kills. Black Spindle isn't a walk in the park, but it shouldn't be. It's arguably the best sniper rifle in the game. In my opinion, you're actively avoiding the areas of the game that actually give a sense of progression. You're dismissing challenges like the Black Spindle or the quest Exotics, when those would address your very concerns. Give this area of the game a chance and you may find that progression you've been looking for.

I'm just going to simply say this because I understand both sides of the coin: No game, whether it's Destiny or anything else, should feel like a chore or job. It should be enjoyable and bottom line[b] fun[/b]. That's what a [i]"game"[/i] is supposed to do. Unfortunately in some aspects this isn't the case for some games and gamers.

I loved it but the game got killed due to fags bitchn n trippin it. [b][u]Crota[/u][/b] - (R) 9.2/10 / the sword mechanic was fun. Laggy and whiners. Exotic swords. Raid. Is ok. But the hard raid/ with the new weapons LOL re-skinned same perks 2/10. The game is progressing but every dlc to buy $20-40. Its too much even im starting to get annoyed. Its hard to hit high light lvl so i killed my titan for another hunter to lvl up my main hunter. I forgot as well. Everytime we glitch we get nerfed by bungie. Reason and proof: Weapon Parts was nerfed. I have around 50-70. Compare to armour i have around 650. Yet everytime with every hotfix we get nerfed due to people who bitch just to troll the community and who will listen? Bungie will. Bungie "[u][i][b]OH NO THEY GLITCHED IT AGAIN! Nerf incomning to weapons or items[/b][/i][/u]" Example. [b]The Black Spindl[/b]e, it shouldve been a reward for effort for even achieving it. Swear to god if that bullshit weapon increase comes next patch where we must re-upgrade our exotics. Im done with this game.

I know me and millions of others will need a miracle to return, since halo 5 fallout 4 and all the other better games are coming out now. Just let destiny rest and maybe something good will come out of it in the future, till then enjoy other games

Weirdly enough I agree with the concept of what you're talking about. I never thought I'd be saying it but I'm happy that other games are coming out and now I can put destiny away. The magic is slowly beginning to wear off and I think that is partly due to all the things I've been wanting being fulfilled in TTK. I'm good! I've gotten my fill and I'm satisfied with the game and am ready to move on

2 RepliesThey can't have it where you just lvl up forever. It has to stop somewhere. I agree that getting 1 or 2 drops per week in the hard raid that has a chance of being better than what you have is kinda dumb but what else can they do? Just hand out what you want???

I'm taking a break and playing through Assassins Creed Syndicate. I'll go in and run the Hard raid a few times, but I won't waste time leveling exotics and infusing everything. Last years shows that come time for the next DLC, there will be new gear anyway.

I've been playing this game since the alpha and I agree that it is going on the wrong direction with TTK. The fact that you are forced to raid and infuse that gear into your exotics to make them worth anything is ridiculous. It's already enough having to wait for RNG or completing difficult quest lines to get the gear, but now you get it and it's useless for higher end content unless you sacrifice raid gear. I like to raid, but I don't get to do it nearly as much as I would like and therefore it's very frustrating to reach 298 or so light and basically be stuck. When I log on, if I can't find a raid to get into, I basically just end up doing shit to pass the time and get bored because nothing I do is going to advance my light level. Dumb move bungie.

2 RepliesYou're approaching/exceeding 300. Nothing but raid drops are going to be higher level. Did you expect constant blue engrams to get higher and higher all the way to 1,000,000 light level?
