Oryx hard cheese already found
So we have proved once again that we always find the easiest way guys.
1. Weaken all four ogres but let them all go to middle
2. Once guy has relic go to top deathsinger platform across from oryx and stun him
3. Finish your ogres and drop into bombs. Because ogres didn't die earlier the knights and add sets don't even spawn until right as you're all 4 dropping in to detonate... Profit.. Easier than normal mode
Not me who came up with it already forget the guy's name but it's on the forums now take a peak he has video

62 RepliesThis reminds me of the first time I played the original grand theft auto. There was a mission where you talk to a hot dog vendor in an ally, as soon as you approach him he runs off and gets into a car. You follow and steal a car then chase him down across the city usually failing cause the driving was crap. After failing 20 times and wasting an hour I decided to steal 20 cars and park them all around the car he always gets in and drives away. So I approach him, he runs off, gets in his car then spends 30 seconds backing up and going forward trying to get away but he can't because I made a ginormous traffic jam for him. I slowly walk up to him, blast him in the head and mission complete. Moral of the story is its a video game and finding different ways to accomplish them within the parameters of the mechanics of the game is the point of playing video games. So lighten up and have fun.

1 ReplyLast I checked its smarter to to do things easier than make things hard for yourself. Also there is no specific way to do the raid whatever gets it done is the right way even bungie said it was a good strategy.

4 RepliesThis "strat" is just for scrubs who have a hard time aiming properly and can't complete it the other way. Yeh bungie put knights in so everyone can cower away on a platform and they don't even spawn, lol really?. You really sure they are "excited" to see this strat? I don't think so.

Well we are making it one cause you are wrong. Under your "logic" taking Crota down from the middle instead of a side was also a cheese.

It's actually a strategy... Everyone was saying the exact same thing back in Hard Mode Crota's End with the middle strat. What did Bungie do? Nothing. Why? Because Bungie loves to see the ways Guardians come up with to defeat a boss.

That's not a cheese. It's a legit method

VoG cheese: push templar/atheon off the map with solar grenades, instantly killing them and avoiding the whole encounter. Crota cheese: going outside of the map for bridge section/ unplugging Ethernet to get a endless kneel or pushing Crota off map with solar grenades. Install killing and avoiding the encounter Oryx "cheese" - not killing ogres right away. But you still have to run through the mechanics of the raid to take away at most a quarter of his health at a time.

It's important to note that if you use this method, the guys on the lower platforms do not shoot ogres otherwise good chance of dying from aggravated ogre. Also best up top to use 2 malices with blessing of light
