i see every one saying elitest this elitest that but to be honest if your a good player being 305 isnt a problem people are posting 310 because they think if you got to 310 then you must be good but thats not how it works if your a good player with good atidude and find a group thats worth the time it wont matter i did my 3erd oyrx kill yesterday with a 307 an a 303 the 303 was a friend and other people wont be that kind i used lfg to find my group on player who was a titan and we inved 8 people 6 were hunters an got mocked an kicked for not reading my post properly one just wasnt a good enough player and the last guy was great we did it first try with him we just needed a bubble and a midle guy he did both great, if your a skilled player its not a problem if your not wait a few weeks the other players that have got good gear will start carrying you but the first few weeks its tough, get good get better gear and make a team with friends if you want to get it done first 2 weeks simple

2 RepliesFunny enough, I have a clan and I actually had to use lfg today. Normally I dont. I did require 310 for hardmode for a few reasons. 1) I didn't beat oryx day one and had been failing it even with a good team. 2) 320 is recommended and 310 gets red enemies with resist 3) Day 2 is not the day to start training peoole that I just met on lfg 4) I still have clan members who need to train for hardmode 5) Once my core clan members get these mechanics down we can start recruiting people with less experience to train. 6) We were starting on Oryx, not a fresh run There is nothing elitist about this. 310 is actually a resonable requirement if you are starting on Oryx. If it's a fresh run we will take people lower. But, honestly I don't usually have to lfg, so any requirements I make are to guage if people have experience in hard mode. I help lower level friends. I don't feel obligated to lower level strangers.

2 RepliesThe problem with this community is that everyone whines about elitism, but there are enough non 310s to do the raid with. But those non 310s don't want to play with other non 310s, they all want to be accepted by high light level groups and be carried through the raid. Then those same people whining about elitism become the elitists.

12 RepliesThis community is the worst gaming community ever. I've been trying for 2 hrs to get into the NORMAL raid. I'm over 300 light I have Touch of Malice and Black Spindle and I've beaten the raid before. Sure I want the witches CP cause my Hunter is at that point but I've seen easily 20+ of those checkpoints. Like I meet all their requirement and I have a mic but still can't join a raid. I don't even know how to classify this but I think I'm finally gonna start being an elitist in the raid. No more helping noobies who haven't done it because I have a tough enough time finding a group.

Lfg is full of one of two things. Experienced groups looking for an extra. Or a bunch of idiots trying to make their own clan/group where no one knows what each other are doing

1 ReplySolution: Join a -blam!-ing clan already. We all know people on LFG sites are lunatics and morons, requiring 320 light, full raid gear and Gjallarhorn 3.0 to do a VoG Normal run. That won't change. Join a clan and it won't matter to you.

Grind normal raid! hope you were lucky because you are now going to grind the hard raid for the same gear you got from the normal raid but with higher light level. Bungies bad decisions will ultimately make this game fail.

Edited by Appell: 10/25/2015 8:32:29 AMThe people still gearing in normal can make groups themselves, and you'll still get alt raids or normal raids gearing up late starter friends etc. I made a HM Oryx group yesterday 305+, 3 of the group iirc were under 310 but we went on to kill Oryx. Personally i think the reason you only see 310+ raids is that all the 305+ raids get filled so fast atm.

If it's that big of a problem, then people should make their own groups just for getting up to the sisters. Seems more constructive than whining.

2 RepliesI'm not so sure. I ran up to oryx with a terrible team. Everyone knew what to do but failed in communication. Some guys would just drop their controller mid game even to do who knows what. Our problem was the 2 floaters always helped only back side and the two up from kept getting killed by tomb ship or adds. Two of us were 309 and the rest were lower. It seemed pretty doable if people would have communicated.

On normal the bare minimum was 291 to be able to do normal damage, here the bare minimum to deal normal damage. I know that getting to 311 is very arduous to get too (personally any 315 requirement is just stupid) but it's easiest way to do a raid but it is a reasonable requirement the first few days of the raid.
