Getting an exotic is supposed to be exiting.
Getting a quest on a certain day of a certain week to do another certain thing that will make me wait a week or two and then I will get a certain exotic.
It's boring, it's stupid, and it takes weeks, not because it's hard but because it makes you.

Exciting* but I won't sit here and go full grammar [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url]. I won't lie tho signing on to find a new quest for a weapon that has been unknown on how to obtain is exciting to me and I'm sure many others. Finally obtaining an exotic you've put hundreds of hours in to obtain is more of a relief than excitement.
