Nothing
No shadestep, blink, extended range melee, grenades that follow you, self rez, tripmine grenade, bubble, or shoulder charge.
If HoS gets nerfed the rest of the skills are going to need to be heavily modified

6 Replies1.) Melting Point 2.) Instantly Recharging Melees 3.) Melee, Grenade, and Supers that instantly recharge health 4.) All of their grenades 5.) Titan Skating (way more effective than blink) 6.) Melee, Grenade, or Supers that can increase agility and reload speed 7.) Shortened grenade and melee cool downs when super is charged If speced right a melee could reheal you, give you better agility, better reload speed, and be instantly recharged, sounds good to me. If you add in the super 1.) The only super that can survive other supers or rockets without needing a specific skill or an exotic 2.) A roaming ranged super with a lot of damage reduction Basically the class is let's take all of the good perks from other classes, make them even better, and add them all to the same class. Examples: 1.) A hungering blade that also works with grenades 2.) Chain of woe that also increases agility 3.) The damage reduction of a radiant skin sunsinger, with the rehealing ability of a Bladedancer, and the range of a gunslinger, but with more shots, tracking, and more roaming time. 4.) Knife juggler that works on all kills not just precision kills But the class is fair and balanced because some people think striker wasn't that great of a PVP class in year 1.

All classes have their ups and downs. You think triple jump is good or something? My gunslinger only has tripmine grenades (which are very situational) and a throwing knife which isn't a one hit kill. Sunbreakers still have fusion grenades and a one hit melee so what's the problem?

2 RepliesAnother shitty crucible player hoping his precious crutch doesn't get kicked out from under him.

A Solar focus

1 ReplyHammer of sol in its current state is glaringly overpowered. No blink or shade step, true. However you have 2 of the best grenades in the game. Healing on grenade kills. Damage over time melee. Sunbreaker without super is average. Probably slightly above average. The super is without question far better than any other super in the game. More damage resistance than blade dancer, more shots than golden gun and splash damage far greater than most rocket launchers. If they didn't have their supers they would be average. With it, is a reason that destinys pvp can't be considered competitive.

Edited by DIZZY312: 10/28/2015 2:48:46 AMMelting point Actually all of the melee abilities are great Sunspots Fleet fire All of their grenades Cauterize (That perk that you have increase agility when you get kills with fire) Not to mention the jumps get you the highest (I still feel like warlocks have the best jumps lol)
-
4 RepliesSunspots, health regen, one hit hammers, critical hit melee etc etc dont try to act like the sad puppy dude its just a little op and it needs to be balanced.
-
I play on ps3 ps4 and Xbox and I don't get why everyone is talking so much shit you've been broken for a year and a half now it's our turn so qq or gtfo

Edited by Starn3rd: 10/28/2015 1:56:45 AMSimmering Flames is unique. It basically doubles your strength and discipline when your super is available. Thats surprisingly good in PvP since it means you get double the fusion grenades. Cauterize is amazing since it activates on ALL your ability kills, with no internal cooldown unlike Hungering Blade (pretty sure thats what it's called) And the melee has some cool perks to it, like sunspots and instant refreshes on kills with the ability. We Sunbreakers have a lot going do us. Balancing HoS won't stop me from killing people in PvP any less than it did Bladedancers (you guys got hit hard though, sorry)
-
Have you even tried Fleetfire and Simmering Flames?
-
People just need to stop bringing this up. You're not going to convince the salty bitchers out there. So just let them stew in there anger, alone, without help or reminding.
-
1 ReplyFusion grenade, healing whenever you get an ability kill, practically a OHK melee..... Need I go on?
-
2 RepliesPeople need to realize the only nerf sun breakers need is a slight nerf to their damage resistance while in super. Basically it needs to be brought back in line with other supers (1 high impact sniper crit should kill them). Everything else is fine.
-
Punching something and having it get a crit all damage it takes? Punching something and have everything around you explode?
-
Tbh im tired of hearing people complain about sunbreakers so how about they take away the perk that lets us regenerate our health and replace it with the perk that is on the Twilight Garrison. The perk is basically like shade step but its like shoulder charging out the way in chain movements.... ill leave a link so you can see yourself
-
Are you joking gtfo.
-
Health regen, best nade, skating, the new exotics...
-
Sun spot over shield. Never lose a fist fight again.
-
That's like asking why Radiance is helpful without Fireborn
-
Well melting point is still very unique, and very powerful. Additionally, the power of HoS is not what makes it unique in its current state, I think its the sunspots and large ad clearing from a distance that is very unique, something that no other class has.

Switches to Mida/Striker Loadout. SHOULDER CHARGING B*TCHES FOR DAYS!!
-
4 RepliesSimmering Flames is dope! When the year two armamentarium is available its gonna be insane
-
Uhm. Cauterize? And the melee that lowers defense that none of you seem to use??
-
Nothing, and thats what sucks about them :(
