Yeah, the floor is sloped 90 degrees.

You don't NEED the gun. Just like you didn't NEED your thorn but most of us did the void kills pvp crap anyway. I myself didn't like the idea of coming across some of the dicks here and have to listen to them complain about others and prop their own egos but as luck has it - I came across a great group and run a lot of content with them on a regular basis. I don't require them all the time nor they me. But raids are great when you don't have the pressure of some perfectionist that hasn't always known what to do ever. -blam!- that guy. Anyway, I think you are screwing yourself out of some fun by ignoring the more social parts of the game. But it is your call.

My luck wasn't so great. Every LFG experience has been miserable, and we've never (not once) even started the activity. That's hours wasted, and yeah, there's some salt and avoidance as a byproduct. Getting deep into a difficult questline solo only to have the next step require finding a fire team is the worst. Quests should plainly state "Fireteam Required" up front. Every single remaining quest is now locked by fireteam requirements. Maybe some day I'll find a decent group, but until then...
