Is Shadow Shot glitch cheating or not? (Poll) 18,000 votes
Ok I have seen a lot of people saying the Shadow shot glitch is cheating and Shadow shot glitch is not cheating. So I have made a poll to figure what the community thinks.

I went into crucible for the first time in like a week or something. Went into elimination and we were all hunters with graviton on. I was hoping the other team didn't think we were gonna cheat. I don't even like quiver in crucible

5 RepliesI'm a hunter and I say it's cheating. I haven't played crucible since the discovery of it and IN was ruined by it. And now I get crap from other people for wearing the Graviton Forfeit, even though I don't use the glitch.

It's "cheating" I suppose. But I don't think there should be any serious consequences for doing. Just work on fixing ASAP

The Quiver ability was meant for crucible to add two more shots, while balancing out to not give good tethers in PvE. The glitch adds unlimited ShadowShots, breaking PvP because people can't super back cause of all the tethers and one hit kill shots coming at them. Crucible isn't meant to be all about supers, it's about who is a better shot or strategist.

4 Repliescheating is the wrong word. is it literally cheating? of course not. Is it wrong to do? Of course it is. Is it fair to do? no. Is it acceptable? Poll says no... Should anyone be able to openly admit to doing it and act like it's no big deal that they use it because they, "could've been using it way more than they did"? No, and they look like fools every time. It's only a big deal because only Hunters can do it, whereas something like the BxR exploit in Halo 2 was available to all.

Look at the poll results, which agreed is a small slice of the community and compare that to the number of ppl using the exploit. Seems like allot of players might say one thing but are doing another. Just an observation.

I main a titan but i have a hunter, at the end of the day, if you found a way to be better than everyone else would you not use it. I don't think its cheating as it is down to game coding, and as people have found it just exposes the fact that bungie can't code games to prevent this happening. They did the same with VOG raid on release and with glitching crota.
