Is Shadow Shot glitch cheating or not? (Poll) 18,000 votes
Ok I have seen a lot of people saying the Shadow shot glitch is cheating and Shadow shot glitch is not cheating. So I have made a poll to figure what the community thinks.

If you are using it on PVE, i don't really care about... but if you are ruinning other players experience with the game to take advantage of that on PVP, you should be punished...

1 ReplyYes. I ran into 7 of them in one match last night. 5 on the enemy and 2 on my team all of which got reported. I should also point out that Match making was kind enough to put me against the same 5 man fire team the next match.

It's an exploit if an in game bug. Wouldn't call it cheating as much as random BS thanks to a lack of testing

However, I only did it in PvE activities. Not even one time did I use it in PvP, because that would be, by definition, cheating. In PvE there are so many other glitches that have been exploited and the gameplay is so different, that I don't believe it gives you that much of an advantage. If Bungie never banned people for some of the other glitches, then by no means should a single person get banned for this. Things like this make the game more fun to play. :)

If anyone says this isn't cheating because it's in game. So was switching characters to exit trials matches. People got banned for that. But it was in game and anyone could do it. This won't make it to trials but realize that it is cheating and if they wanted too, could ban you if they want too. Cheating isn't defined by using mods or hacking the game. It's going outside or around the rules of fair play. Just because their game has an opening to do so dorsnt condone doing it. Just because they made an mistake/oversight doesnt mean you get to capitalize on it because of your shitty sportsmanship.
