Cheating
So. This little hunter glitch. It needs to stop now. People who are willing to use it iron banner especially right now. Need to be banned permanently. For example. Our team was up by bout 5000 then all of a sudden. Two hunters on the opposite team used the hunter glitch over and over and over and over and over again. To where all of a sudden they're catching up. Not only is our team getting constantly tethered. But it is also supplying orbs for their team to basically super left and right. I realize this being fixxed here soon. But for you players out there. Just because it is a glitch. It is still cheating even more if you do it in competitive gameplay. Just don't do it. You do not need to cheat to play and win against other players. Play honestly and fairly guys. It is not hard to do.

5 RepliesI done dark blade strike on heroic with just my lock and a hunter. He used it the whole strike. It was the most fun I've had on that strike. Orbs everywhere. I used storm caller constantly. I think he spawned like 200+ orbs. Use it while you got it.

I've tried in on earth patrol, just to see what all the fuss was about, but never in pvp. I've had a guy on my team do it yesterday in IB. My hunter grieved the rest of the match. I hate seeing ppl use it in pvp

I think I spawned in on that game..... Spawned in and my side was down huge, something like 6,000 to 16,000, I'm looking around trying to figure out where I am, where's my team, flags......you all know what I'm talking about, then you hear it Tether...Tether....Tether.....Tether.....Tether, all I can say is at least they held off using it till it was all but hopeless....not that I'm condoning it, just know that feeling of a terrible made match and the frustration that comes from it.

They cant get banned, if they do then bungie would be going against their own words, look up and read their article on account resrections and banning policies.

Problem is smart people will use the glitch but not abuse it. They will store it after two shots then wait a min or two and do it again. Less likely anyone would catch on and could simply be orb transfers across the team.

The easiest thing to do is either dont allow supers and see how well players can aim or run with a fireteam of 6 nightstalking hunters ;)

3 RepliesThe thing is the way crucible, match making and IB are setup it promotes cheating. When you go in solo and come up against a fireteam of 6 you already know this is going to be tough and you are already tired as you have already lost 4-5 games in IB and since you can't get anymore medallions you are left with no choice but to give in to the temptation of using that glitch. Let me clear this before I get hated on....I do not support this form of glitching but I will say that it's not a 100% fault of the player abusing it. It's just that the player just does not want to spend what little time he has suffering through the poor matchmaking this game has for PvP

44 RepliesAs unfair as it is, it's not cheating. It's a program error being exploited. Bungie has posted a fix on the way soon. They can't be banned for using something Bungie included in the game, intentionally or by mistake.
