Cheating
So. This little hunter glitch. It needs to stop now. People who are willing to use it iron banner especially right now. Need to be banned permanently. For example. Our team was up by bout 5000 then all of a sudden. Two hunters on the opposite team used the hunter glitch over and over and over and over and over again. To where all of a sudden they're catching up. Not only is our team getting constantly tethered. But it is also supplying orbs for their team to basically super left and right. I realize this being fixxed here soon. But for you players out there. Just because it is a glitch. It is still cheating even more if you do it in competitive gameplay. Just don't do it. You do not need to cheat to play and win against other players. Play honestly and fairly guys. It is not hard to do.

2 RepliesMajority of all hunters running the helm using quiver are using the glitch. Just pay attention in game and watch 1-2 shots go out and the 3 lil dots above his head and than he runs... Bout min later he fires off bow and repeats. Trying to conceal the fact he's using glitch. It's sad...

1 ReplyThere is a difference between cheating and exploiting you know. I don't condone nor do I do this glitch but technically they aren't cheating just do something in the game that's not supposed to be there, and everyone has access to it. They can't ban people for using something that everyone has used now, they'll lose probably a third of their player base if they banned everyone who used it in pvp. It's just like all the exploiting in crotas end. It's not the players fault that is accessible. If you want to be mad at anyone be mad at bungie not the player.

After I saw this I worked as fast as I could to level up my Hunter up and start kicking some butt in Crucible to get rank 5 in Iron Banner. I see this as revenge for all the bullshit deaths shotguns gave me and I have no remorse for any of you if you feel you're being cheated because I have what it takes to do the glitch. Just for some REAL fun I started doing some strikes. 145 orbs generated in one strike. Next strike the other Hunter decided to join and we both generated slightly over 100 each. This is really fun and really enjoyable and I love it. You people will just find the next shotgun combination/super glitch after they patch this anyway. I'm enjoying it while it lasts. I hardly see ANYONE use this. Seriously, I've seen MAYBE 5 people use it today. I don't know where all those Hunters were that you kept running into, but I sure as hell didn't meet any of them.

1 ReplyThis glitch is really pissed me off for playing Iron Banner. Seriously Bungee need to stop them immediately. Spamming shadowshot glitch = more orbs = more sunbreaker hammer Bungee need to warn people who abusing this glitch. Every game I entered I see only shadowshots.

Hunter glitch is a problem.. but I see more lag hackers doing their teleport bullshit and I've unloaded clips into guys and they somehow don't die...

This happened to me just now in a clash game, we were barely ahead until the end, and it was a tight match, then all of a sudden a hunter or maybe 2 of them started spamming their super, and they won. One of them insta-quit the game at the end, probably so they wouldn't show up in the end-game screen. Very annoying, I needed that 1 clash win to finish the weekly Shaxx bounties. The crucible reward system and quests are so broken right now, not thought out well at all.

10 RepliesThis must be an Xbox thing (no I'm not starting shit) because I played IB and crucible all day yesterday and didn't see it happen at all?? Regardless it looks ridiculous in the YouTube videos and I completely agree that the little noodlebobs that are abusing this need to be shunned!

32 RepliesA majority of people crying about the glitch are warlocks and titans, titans laughed when hunters were OP with bladedancer but nerfed and came the hammers of sol, but all that time, hunters lurked in the shadows creating infinite arrows and now its our time to shine, when I activate my nightstalker super, I see titans and warlocks tuck their tail in between their legs and scurry back into the forest, for the hunter is out and the animals are the hunted, let us rise my fellow hunters, lets rain arrows down upon those who mocked us while we still can before the patch, and may the odds be ever, in your favor.... *Eagle screech in background* #Huntermasterrace

Had a guy using it last night in Iron Banner, when I messaged him telling him to play properly and stop glitching he said "I'm not glitching bro, it's part of the game I paid for" best part was he hardly got any kills with it!

Whether or not some people see it as cheating, it still has the potential to make the game just as frustrating for others as the sunbreaker super is to those who can't seem to stop it. More so I think. I also hate when a hunter who is NOT using the glitch gets reported anyway I'm fairly certain a gunslinger can't use infinite shadowshots. I main a hunter, but I also play titan and warlock whenever I feel like it, so no side choosing there but the glitch needs fixed in my opinion. Tldr: as a hunter, glitch is just as annoying for me as it is to those being shot by it.

Last night my clan and I went into the iron banner and got matchmade with another full team. Needless to say it was a six man team of pure hunters with Graviton Forfeits on. Every. Single. Player. Halfway into the match shadow shot bows kept on raining down without stopping. I popped my super and 3 enemy hunters popped theirs. And I saw for brief moments they stopped and then continued. Bows after bows after bows non.stop. We stayed in the match and lost by 10,000+ points. Now I know why trials had to be delayed. They messaged us and told us 'git guud -blam!-' and we reported them all.

I thought u would be stronger than this. after a couple days of this glitch it turned you soft. what once was strong as iron is now mushy baby shit. to even suggest banning, wow! grow up. omg ToO is delayed wah wah. cry cry the hunter glitch, cry cry ToO is postponed. would you rather have this glitch been exposed during trials, no! so, it all works itself out then.
