This is absolute garbage.
It makes perfect sense why you designed the current loot system in King's Fall to be terrible; it was designed with this (highly likely) paid-for consumable in mind the entire time.
I just killed Oryx on my Titan and guess what I got? 2 shards. This is disgusting. If your company has even a shred of integrity left (doubtful), you'll make sure this item never sees the light of day as it is currently designed.

ill take it.. its no different then the moldering shard.. . guess what, I had 47 shards on my character... guess what? I got more shard throughout the entire raid. guess what else? I could give a shit. just play the game and have fun playing it. if you get a drop, great, if not, great. is the destiny world around you collapsing cause you didn't get an item? If you think so. Turn off your console and go outside and try and get some kind of interactive life going.. cause if destiny and the loot system is your main concern.. You have some issues.

This is the same as what went down with VoG when it first came out. Everyone expects all the gear off of >10 completions......... Indomitable light will allow more filthy casuals to raid and get gear. Let them pay and play. Its just an attempt to include more of the community. I don't see an issue with this at all. All games are going the way of the wallet warrior. They are targeting people with disposable incomes. Kids can enjoy the fact that they are good at games because they have time to play them. For us older folk who want to get experience everything but don't have the time can pay to see the best parts of a game. Yes, I agree its ruining the gaming industry, but Bungie is just cashing in on something many companies have been doing for awhile. You know what the definition of insanity is. Let it go.

I know for one thing I am already perturbed at the KF drop rates. This is an eye opener for sure. Why must I increase my drop chance on a raid that's already pretty difficult, and requires a 1.5-2 hour time investment? [spoiler]I don't want to hear from people that the raid takes an hour. It does if you're Maliced/Spindled, heavily practiced, and no one is jump puzzle retarded in your regular weekly group. Yes I myself have been in said good groups. Step outside yourselves and think about the other side, or the norm.[/spoiler] I will be following this stuff with great interest, Young Skywalker. I don't like where this is headed.

Couple things: The Valorous/Heuristic/Indomitable Light were Three of Coins-like buffs sold by the Speaker for Motes+Planetary Materials (I honestly don't remember exactly what they cost, [but it was never Silver] I can't keep the entire economy in my head) but for a variety of bug-related reasons they were removed. They were also - as has been pointed out - in the data files before TTK shipped. Someone PM me when Zoba hasn't talked about TLW for a month (seriously, move on).
