The suppression field no! everything else spot on. You should make one for other classes

Working on that right now. I think the suppression is fine because it takes a perk slot to do so. Besides, you shouldn't be directly challenging a defender in his ward.

Yeah but I would rather the suppression and blinding be on the helm of saint. I feel that's to op for a perk on a subclass.

Eh, they get it with their grenades, so it's not too much of a stretch. It actually gives the perk a use in Crucible as well as PvE, which is something nearly all of the year 2 perks have.
