PSA: Your K/D doesn't matter.
I always come across comments with people saying, "well your kd says otherwise."
It's a game. Enjoy it.
When I'm playing crucible, I will play to help my team and do the best I can, but I also have fun with it and I couldn't care less what my stats are. I saw a post where someone was saying their K/D was low because they let their little brother play on his character some times. There's no need to make excuses for your stats. Play the game whatever way you want. If having a great K/D is what you strive for, then all means, slay away! I just don't like the trend in the community to alienate people for a stat that doesn't matter. This is a game. Have fun with it!

2 RepliesBest post all week. I hate playing with ppl who care nothing about the objective of the game. 40 kills and you capped not one zone. I play to win the game. Whether thats 3 kills or 30. If you contribute to the team its more fun. But what do I know, my k/d sux

3 RepliesThey're just losers or pathetic low IQ failed idiots who get kicked from raids because they don't have the IQ to keep up with following instructions or knowing simple things like what "counter clockwise" means. They can't do good in PVE so they just keep playing crucible. So they use that as an excuse to boost their ego and tell others that they're bad.

#forgetyourbandwagon I play to play, call me a tryhard but at least you don't have to deal with the irritation of running across a map to be snipe out by a true tryhard headglitching 3 objects cause his "kd doesn't matter" or because the "objective doesn't matter"... Winning comes down to 3 basic things. Lag lottery, gun skill, and team coordination Anyone with a dirt kd had a problem with one of those three things and will have to "tryhard " er in the others to makeup the balance. Else he will simply be extra weight for more difficult achievements than rng loot. Gg gl hf

I agree people should play even with a low k/d but at least stay positive. If you suck that bad don't go lone wolf. Stay with your team and be useful by staying alive. I personally hate it when it's 3-1 in the first 20 seconds of a trials match. People need to learn how to live if they can't kill.

Which normally wouldn't be to bad, but I haven't found any PvP weapons yet and every game save one I joined in on the losing team only to be mercilessly destroyed. Using subpar weapons coupled with terrible matchmaking is really ruining my fun. I'm doing on average 3 times worse than I normally do and it's annoying.

2 RepliesUnless you're on LFG, looking for groups to play Trials with. It's always shit like, "NEED 9001 K/D FOR TRIALS. MUST HAVE FLAWLESSED TRIALS TWENTY ONE TIMES... A DAY." It's shit like this that makes me unable to do Trials most of the time.

I'm playing with five people who think completely different. They all have 2.0 kds or higher. Were not losing.

1 ReplyGiven the atrocious matchmaking, no private games, supers which if chained by opposite team mess you up. Yes in most shooters KD is the most meaningful stat but that is counter strike type games. Here its just a number as meaningless as my PVE KD

Though not great im usually positive with my kd Personally I think it would be better if the stat wasn't in the game at all It seems to be most peoples primary concern so less risks are taken for the team
