If it's true that, as reported, we won't get any dlc in between now and year 3 then they have to really stretch what they have with the slow release of those exotics. I hope it's untrue because as bad as it was, I don't see updates the size of Dark Below that include a new raid and a new light cap coming for free, (HoW size things for free seem more feasible... "here's a horde mode and a pvp mode we've been siting on since launch") and if Bungie thinks they can make as much money selling emotes and shaders alone they're going to be in for a surprise. If the no DLC packages thing is true then I expect small things like the 'sleeper stimulant' quest or the 'no time to explain' quest to periodically come out. Anyway if they think just some exotic added every now and then will hold players very long without significant new content than then they can kiss their fan base goodbye. As it is Hard Mode for Kings Fall is coming at the exact right time because normal mode is joke at this point if your using a decent team

I agree. It's actually stupid to recycle old gear to year 2 over time. They should make new stuff while people are enjoying hunting the replacements or farming marks. Seriously. If they hadn't made blueprints for year 2 so easily accessible by marks perhaps legacy strikes would have been a better way to get year 1 gear but with the year 2 upgrades. Just makes sense to me. But oh well. There's plenty who would disagree and that's fine too.
