5 RepliesGjallahorn, not only because it was much more of an accomplished feeling when I got it but also because it did great damage all around. Yeah the sleeper can shoot through ten guys lined up. That's lined up of course. The GALLY will kill ten guys anywhere. Lol. The sleeper looks good. I think GALLY looks better, nothing is more aggressive looking then a big rocket launcher with a wolfs head right in the front. Lol. But it's not like it matters. Can't use the Gjallahorn anyways. Destiny 1.5 and on couldn't handle its power that's why it had to stay behind. Because they knew nothing could compete with that beast ass rocket launcher. I bet if it was a year 2 exotic people wouldn't be choosing the sleeper.

1 ReplyGjallahorn because it has much better perks. Not saying the sleeper simulat is a bad gun. It's awesome at dealing massive damage. Just wish it had better perks with it. Like enemies let out a electronic bolts after scoring a precision shot or they blow up. The laser bounces off hard surfaces just seems a little useless in most boss or in general.

1 ReplyWell considering gally will remain y1 and locked at 170 dmg and the sleeper atm can cap at 310 ( possibly higher with the KF hard mode coming ) sleeper will produce a significant amount of dmg over the gally permanently now. As sad as it is gally is a memento of the domination of y1 bosses.

1 ReplyGhorn because I don't have the sleeper, but laying down a weapons of light on Golgoroth and firing tons of lasers into the bubble seems like a lot of fun
-
1 ReplySleeper is way more fun to use. Gally is boring
-
3 RepliesI prefer my sword
-
6 RepliesSleeper really sucks Gally is god and should be restored to its top dog status
-
2 RepliesInfusion sucks
-
2 RepliesOh how I miss the ruin wing/gally roc strikes :(
-
3 RepliesG horn higher rate of fire and just makes you feel good
-
1 ReplySleeper simulant since there isn't a year two version of gjallarhorn
-
1 ReplyEdited by Exo-Ultron: 10/9/2015 6:41:08 PMGjallahorn is dead guys, just deal with it
-
3 RepliesSleeper for sure, Ghally was and will always be a "No Skill to feel Badass" kind of weapon. Plus it's a Rocket Launcher, And I just Hate Rocket Launchers. Sleeper Feels and Acts like a Futuristic Prototype Particle weapon. Whi8in my opinion makes it much more fun to use... It does need more ammo and maybe a perk to see where the beam will ricochet while looking through the sight...

6 RepliesWait for a Solar Burn NF.. You'll see... You'll all see...
-
2 RepliesI think everyone is forgetting that Ghorn can clear a mob with one rocket. Something that the SS can't do. I like the SS but Ghorn was so versatile while the SS really only has utility for one target at a time.
-
1 ReplySleeper can get criticals without shadow shot, and im pretty sure it's hit scan, but really it depends on the situation
-
Silly question tbh I don't think ANYTHING will EVER surpass what Gjallahorn was in Year 1 BUMP ME
-
1 Replygjallarhorn was OP and amazing. sleeper simulant is ok. not near the level of OP
-
Let's see... A fire and forget ultimate weapon of death vs a hard hitting precision killer... Fire and forget always wins.
-
3 RepliesSigh. Who doesn't prefer good old gally. Sigh... Maybe in the next expansion it'll be year two.........
(cries softly)
1 ReplyEdited by DangermonkeyLXXVII: 10/9/2015 6:54:52 PMTo be fair if both were year 2 I would choose Gjallarhorn. But due to the fact that Gjallarhorn is stuck in year 1 I can honestly say that the sleeper is not that bad of a replacement. So far I've used it quite a bit and thoroughly enjoy it and feel that it does do substantial damage. My only problem with the sleeper is the Max ammo capacity. If this was increased i would definitely be pleased with its current standing.

3 RepliesI actually didn't like Gjally that much. I preferred to use Icebreaker or Invective as my default quips, even if there was a solar burn.
-
1 Replysleeper because it is year 2
-
1 ReplyI preferred Gjarllarhorn because it was a multipurpose heavy weapon.. Good for clearing crowds, hitting targets that moved too much, great dps and even reliable in some close quarters instants. I like Sleeper Stimulant, but it's not for every moment and/or enemy. It's great for some bosses, (because it has excellent dps), close quarters, crucible (takes down the supers), even long range (it's great and accurate for a heavy weapon) but not very good for clearing crowds or saving you in those moments when you're overwhelmed with enemy. I guess that's why I'd choose Gjarllarhorn, because it was pretty good at everything. Sleeper Stimulant is great, but not in every situation.

5 RepliesSleeper Simulant. Solar burn. Nightstalker tethers everything. Pop a headshot with the Sleeper. Everything dies. Drown in orbs. No solar burn you say? Pretty much the same end result.

1 ReplyWolfpack rounds vs ricochet... :)
