For Those Who Have It…

Sleeper Stimulant It works great for tearing through bosses health. Mines at 300 right now. Though the ricochet doesn't help it, the penetrative power us wicked.

Sleeper is more fun but if you're asking which one was better ghorn was for sure better. Sleeper is a one enemy type of weapon. Ghorn was a slaughter everything you could imagine with one trigger pull. It's like bill burr said You got a problem over here, wabam one shot and you ain't got a problem anymore and these folks over here saw what you did to them other guys and you ain't got a problem over there anymore either.

1 ReplyI have both, and each one has (or did have) it's own niche. SS is great because you can actually get crit shots with it for huge numbers. But, it's not exactly your fire and forget it kind of weapon, nor does it have a range like Gally. The only true comparison would be if they were tested side by side with matching light level, not to mention having all your wolfpack rounds reinstated.

The simulant is fun, but not worth giving up an exotic slot. Gjallarhorn was well worth the spot

Gjallarhorn was more powerful, but I honestly don't care that it got nerfed and not put in year 2, I could easily live without it. It was an overhyped gun

Just started a Titan yesterday. I used the item to boost to level 25 immediately. My load out was Fatebringer, Efrideet's Spear, and Gjallarhorn. I really miss my favorite launcher. It was awesome to use it again.

Gjally was a god complete terror. Takes out bosses in seconds. Sleeper simulant is good for dps. But not close to gjallerhorn.

Both are totally different weapons. Gally was amazing at crowd control while sleeper is just for single target destruction, at least that's how I used them.

I don't think anything currently available will ever be able to match the destruction of Gjallarhorn. But SS is an amazing gun. Don't know why people were disappointed with it.
