I don't understand why the hell Artifacts are in the game.
Edit: I just don't understand. I get it, but they just weren't necessary.

It provides an extra bonus, such as void, arc, or solar buffs. Plus, it's a quick way to raise your light.

Take light out of artifacts, ghosts and class items. Problem solved

I think those all have light so it's harder for guardians to get 310 light.
