I've been quite active on the forums lately, and all I see in the 'classes' section is just over 9,000 hunters complaining about sun breakers super. Ugh.
-Countering-
So, I doubt any hunters know this: Shadowshot disables supers, and can one-shot a sun breaker. I've gone on my hunter, logged into the crucible, found a hammer bro, and fired my shadowshot. The guy manages to throw one hammer; misses, and suffers a brutal death by smoke grenade in my tether. So, stop complaining about how it can't be countered.
-Health/shields-
Apparently sun breaker has a ton of HP. I laughed at that statement as I got one-shot from Nova bombs, golden guns, shadowshot ect. That's like saying Headstrong for FoH is op. It's called a super for a reason.
-Too many hammers!-
OK, I guess we have like... 5 hammers or more. Nice. I guess hunters and warlocks think: 5 hammers = 5 free kills. Not really. Take those... Around 5/6/7 hammers. Now, add map movement. Now, add missing. Now, add panic throwing. So op. It's basically the same as a bladedancer. And don't say "the hammers track!" Cause I use the tracking upgrade, and see almost no difference.
-hammers: NOVA BOMBS!-
Really? Just... Really? It's like saying Nova bombs blast radius is op, rockets are op, shadow shot is op, grenades are op, and everything that blows up in destiny is op. Not my fault that you thought, "Faa-ting!!! Oh, lemme go try to shotgun that guy."
In all, sun breakers shouldn't be nerfed. It's balanced compared to other supers, so stop whining.
Hunters... Let us Titans have our moment.
It's our time to shine.
Yes, I know shadowshot doesn't oneshot a sb. I made an error, no need to restate this anymore.

2 RepliesI'm a hunter, have no problems with sunbreakers. Pvp has never been this balanced.

Edited by CanadianCommie: 10/8/2015 6:35:54 PMNow What about us warlocks and the Stormcaller. LOL i can easily wipe out a team of enemies during a single super.

Sunbreaker is just as fair as the other subclasses. You have to just live with it and not try to nerf it. If you can't stand it become it so you learn to embrace the subclass

2 RepliesThanks for stating this out. And probably right now im thinking youre getting more toxicity by ignorant fools in this forums. One of the main reasons i never posted any topic for a long time in this forums is because people in this part of the destiny community only ever knows one thing: "COMPLAIN" and its one of the most annoying things in this world. So i commend you for posting this up here and state the FACTS.

Nerf sunbreakers!

14 RepliesEdited by Swarthy_Grandeur: 10/7/2015 2:08:30 AMHunters are so salty over this. These the same people that think their knife should one shot because they don't have enough skill to shoot once and then throw. Dogged the hammers and pull out your heavy weapons. It's not even hard to do

2 RepliesEdited by Iji The Killer: 10/8/2015 7:43:05 AMI love these post, nobody is willing to state the fact that you get health regen, armor equal to that of a pre nerf sunsinger wearing Ram with radiant skin on, the fact that hammers are mini nova bombs and you get five to eight throws, it is a mobile super which has proven time and again to be the best kind for PvP. I don't even care that it is to powerful just admit that it is and enjoy it. Stop trying to defend it.
-
But you heal after every kill with it.....and only a really high impact sniper like spindle can kill you off a headshot....and its mobile....with a ranged attack.....that has a rocket like blast radius....

THANK YOU

15 RepliesLook at the Sunbreaker as a whole Yes the super is really strong but that's because the whole perk tree is based on buffing the super All but 2 perks (cauterize and fleet fire) require Hammer of Sol to be active or charged So now lets talk about a Sunbreaker without a charged super. you have cauterize and fleet fire which both require a grenade, meele or hammer kill to be useful That's it Compared to a Bladedancer without its super charged. which has access to invisibility, blink, quick draw ect. This gives the subclass solid PvP potential without relying on arc blade alone to be powerful. My Point is a Sunbreaker's super is extremely powerful, but a Sunbreaker is forced to rely on Hammer of Sol alone to be powerful. WITHOUT a charged or active super, a Sunbreaker is at a disadvantage against the other classes That's where the balance is

2 RepliesI've not played to much PvP to get too annoyed by the hammer just yet. I play 3v3 modes so supers are not spammed as much. If I've got a super soon as I hear the hammer clang I drop my golden guns and jump shot them. It's when I don't have a super I have a bit of a issue with it. I feel the armour is a little to high when Titans have hammer out. Just adding a slight reduction in the armour and it's fine.
-
I've seen so many titans mocking hunters saying that hammer of Sol is op because it survives a gg shot, if sunbreakrs get 5% less health while in super, I would be happy

Truuuuuuu

1 ReplyOh my god, another post complaining about non-existant hunters. I have seen no hunters posting and yet I have seen hundreds of titan posts rebutting. Are all of you guys hallucinating? Cause I am seriously confused.
-
Agreed.
-
I'm pretty sure I'm the only hunter who knows about the shadowshot-cancels-super thing. I'm sorry that other hunters are morons.
-
Actually... Shadow shot usually supresses people after your dead so... Not much help there.

NEWS FLASH: if it does damage, its OP according to destiny forums' logic
please, save ur sanity and just stop. they wont get it
Yeah I don't really get it. I'm fine with the hammers the way they are. It's sometimes a little much on mayhem when you have like 4 Titan sunbreakers on the other team and hammers flying everywhere the entire game, but that could be said if there's a lot of any one class in a match. but on any regular mode I have no issue.
