....that wouldn't make the perks good, it would just have high light.....and that was the point of the post, aside from higher light, and esthetics these weapons are pretty basic. I have to say after like 9 clears of the raid I got duplicate weapons, some times with lower light..lol. and I have 1 piece of armor for each character, got 2 pairs of gauntlets for my titan(dismantled 1). Mostly got shards and synth. I got 1 ghost shell total. I do love the machine gun with cocoon, its a nice touch. The rocket launcher is like hyper depressing...... I mean wtf is the deal here????? Rocket launchers got pooped on dlc-wide, but this is todays hunger of crota, or hezen vengeance. Which at the time were second only to gjallerhorn. This thing is no better than any blue rocket you pick up from an engram.

I don't know why you think the perks aren't good. In terms of DPS, cocoon is incredible. My sniper has firefly as well, which is nice. In addition, even if the weapons aren't good, I almost prefer that. That means we wont have every Tom, Dick and Harry running around with the exact same weapons like we've witnessed from VoG. Maybe they intentionally didnt make them top-tier to make the option of infusing your preffer d gear a little more alluring. Sometimes you need to just take a step back and look at the big picture instead of just running to the forum and complaining because KF doesn't drop the Vision of Crutch-fluence or the Taintbringer.

In the history of mmo, and this micro-mmo raid set gear has always, and should always be the pinnacle of gear which is available, NOT a material used to make standard gear better. You could just as easily, maybe even more easily hit 300, and strike grind and/or engram farm to reach 310. Cocoon is cool, I like it on my machine gun as I mentioned. Aside from that though, there's no awesome weapon. Nothing in see people getting hype to hunt, or own. Coming from a world where we had fate bringer, vision (which I never liked), the hezen vengeance, praedyths, found verdict, all awesome weapons then we had the abyss defiant ( I loved) the black hammer, and the hunger of crota. Poe offered nothing...the ar was nice but since they are nerfed to abysmality it was useless. I can't say anything I got from kf is really exciting. Except for the boots i didnt get yet for extra agility when torn. The guns have random perks, the rocket launcher is no different from any other random blue rocket really. Im assuming the elemental damage primaries are in the hard mode....or just eliminated totally...who knows lol....Real disappointing overall experience with the kings fall raid. First week it was challenging, now I'd say its the easiest raid we've been given. I hate auto correct and my pone.....

Well then you're more than welcome to go play those other MMO's. The overwhelming feedback Bungie recieved from not only the public, but also critical opinion, was that it's kind of boring 3 weeks after the raid is released to see everyone wearing the same gear, using the same weapons. I know that myself and the majority of players to this game don't like looking like everyone else. You may, which is fine. However, the majority doesn't want to be forced into wearing the exact same gear just to stay the highest light level. I like having options. I like being able to say "oh, thats cool, he's 310 with full Dead Orbit armor! He must've played the raid a bunch of times to get all of that infusion! Good on him!"... as opposed to "Oh cool, he has Crota helmet. Hooray. So do I. We are all the same. Yippee".
