I found a way to duplicate guns!!
OK here is what you do.
1. go to xur when he comes on the weekend and buy as many 3 of coins as you can.
2. Do strikes over and over again popping a 3 of coins before each boss. IMPORTANT: must do them until you absolutely hate each and every one of the strikes.
3. you will get exotic engram's from the bosses approximately 1/5 boss kills. Take your engram's to the tower and open them
4. Voila!!! each one will decrypt to be something you already have. Gear duplicated :)
5. Thank Bungi for all the duplicates :)
Don't worry everyone, in the end everything your doing now will eventually just be a pile of shards in your vault like your hard work in year one. They will sell the game and all dlc for 60$ while you have spent over a 100$ and all your work will be erased and you can watch all the new people with better luck surpass you. That's your Destiny ;)
P.S. for the people who are getting shitty. You came here to try and cheat, so humble yourself. Also, there's nothing wrong with a little section for all of us people upset at the duplicates to vent, make light of the situation, and joke about all the duplicates. Lastly, thanks for spending your precious time to post in a section that pisses you off. I'm also very sorry it pisses you off so much. It shows your time is as valuable as my duplicate guns :/

P.S. this also works if you want multiple Alpha Lupi's. Are an exotic chest engram? Congratulations!!! You just duplicated an Alpha Lupi! Me? Out of the 22 exotic chest engrams I've gotten, I've been successfully able to duplicate an Alpha Lupi 21 times. Damn you year 2 voidfang vestments! You defeated my perfect streak!

Don't save up a bunch of exotic engrams. I decrypted mine as I got them and have never had a duplicate. Since drops are decided when the engram is dropped, not opened, I feel you have a better chance to get something new if you don't hoard them.

Omg! I thought I was the only one that was repeatedly repeating my exotics. All these exotic shards are going to be valuable in the future, right? There is no way that RNG could f me harder than normal. This games loot system was already barbaric, there is no way they could screw it up? Is there? I reserve the right to plead not guilty due to insanity. Just saying.

I've been getting nothing but helmets. Light Beyond Nemesis and Obsidian Minds. I can't even infuse them anymore as I have three 310 helmets already...

1 ReplyOh man this works! I've got 3 "The Last Word"s, and 5 Vanguard Diluvians. It works for armor, too, because I got 2 more sets of Ruin Wings after I bought one from Xur. It seems like this "new" RNG is worse than the old one; with the old RNG there were only two guns I couldn't get (I eventually did, thanks Xur), and now there are only two guns that I can get.

1 Replyyeah RNG has been terrible. I get a lot of the same chest, 2 machine guns, conspiracy theory D, and every exotic weapon engram is either invective or the last word.
