I found a way to duplicate guns!!
OK here is what you do.
1. go to xur when he comes on the weekend and buy as many 3 of coins as you can.
2. Do strikes over and over again popping a 3 of coins before each boss. IMPORTANT: must do them until you absolutely hate each and every one of the strikes.
3. you will get exotic engram's from the bosses approximately 1/5 boss kills. Take your engram's to the tower and open them
4. Voila!!! each one will decrypt to be something you already have. Gear duplicated :)
5. Thank Bungi for all the duplicates :)
Don't worry everyone, in the end everything your doing now will eventually just be a pile of shards in your vault like your hard work in year one. They will sell the game and all dlc for 60$ while you have spent over a 100$ and all your work will be erased and you can watch all the new people with better luck surpass you. That's your Destiny ;)
P.S. for the people who are getting shitty. You came here to try and cheat, so humble yourself. Also, there's nothing wrong with a little section for all of us people upset at the duplicates to vent, make light of the situation, and joke about all the duplicates. Lastly, thanks for spending your precious time to post in a section that pisses you off. I'm also very sorry it pisses you off so much. It shows your time is as valuable as my duplicate guns :/

This shit is getting ridiculous. 6 exotics for 25 3oC. 2 Hawkmoons, 2 CoaL for the Titan, and 2 invectives all of which I already own. It isn't like shards are really useful anymore

It's actually getting pretty irritating especially when my last 8 exotic engrams have been all been duplicates. Its not exciting when you get your 3rd hereafter, or a 3rd suros, or a 3rd insurmountable skullfort, or a 2nd stag and a 2nd 4th horsemen. The list goes on.

I stumbled upon this method by accident. So glad to know its so simple to get those sought-after duplicates. You can never have enough useless guns that don't give you Legendary Marks upon dismantling. Just a huge pile of useless exotic shards and a little glimmer. Awesome!
