Wanted to do the raid today.
I'm a day one player. Playing a little catch up but wanted to join a raid team.
Goto the lfg here and all I see for miles is, need to be this and need to have that.
Need to have experience and need to be 297 or 301 or need a sniper and be 293.
We'll you didn't have all this shit your first time so why all the assholes?
I'll be watching football.
Can't wait for fallout 4.
Edit. Regardless of my level. My point being it's just like reading lfg when all the elite was crying for 6 gallies to run crota.
Edit: was never looking to be carried.
Didn't know it was a 280 290 300 system.

You haven't got a point if you haven't reached a good enough level to do the raid don't be disappointed when people don't want you in there team.also I doesn't take that long to get to 295.and if you haven't accomplished that your never gonna do the raid.FIFA for you boy.

1 ReplySo much damn salt, this community is full of dicks. This is why I require 300+ light to weed out the scrubs.
-
1 ReplyUnderstandable but it's possibly because the raid is pretty -blam!-ing intense. It's a raid where teams should consist of both experienced and/or high-level players too. Without this, many fireteams either die at Golgoroth or Warpriest countless times and/or if they manage to excel past all three raid bosses, they get to a -blam!-ing mentally-challenging wall block with Oryx and may give up. Plus, Reddit and even the Bungie Forum actually beg players to be 290 light (done by Vanguard Heroics, doing the Weekly Crucible bounties or grinding a shitload of Stolen and Antiquated runes). Don't get me wrong, on the first week King's fall came out, I was light level 282 but my team of good friends said Nope and kicked me. So salty afterwards but after grinding my light level up, I -blam!-ing now hit a 295 and after playing the raid 2 times now, I'm hitting 302 light lvl. But in the end, as I played the raid, I understood that it's to do with knowing what do do, EVERYONE being as powerful as they possibly can and having the right weapons and strategies to kill the boss as fast as ppssie. These are the reasons why my friend kicked me out for King's Fall. So, do what I said, patiently grind your light lvl up with some other friends of people on LFG who are also in the same position as you and after reaching a high-enough light level, your set. Till then, your gonna have to get used to the high number of high light lvl or experienced only LFG posts for the raid. P.S: don't call the raid stupid too. Bungie put a -blam!-load of working and ingenuity into this raid and it's bloody epic. Don't diss plz. Thx. ;)

Should have leveled that sniper like anyone else that wanted to beat it 1st week
-
2 RepliesI think you're just whining about not getting into a group. Most groups are honestly pretty lenient on light.
-
Your 279 light I hate it when groups have stupid standards you have to meet. But why would a stranger carry you through? So be realistic Level up first. Oh and a sniper is the only special weapon you'll need in kings fall.
-
Seriously? You are a 279....bungie recommends 290 not lfg. Try to be a little smarter before complaining. Yes I was a 295 before going into the raid and had a sniper that was 290. It's possible you just want a carry.
-
No I had to grind heroics until I was 295 to get in with a decent group. Also what about the guys/girls setting up groups saying newbies welcome 280 up? This post lacks effort man.
-
1 ReplyAll I hear is "wahhhh waahhhhhh!!!! My stupid idiotic self is to lazy to make my own group!!!! I should be carried through because I'm too entitled to level up!!!! Wahhhh wahhh!!!"
-
2 RepliesRecommended light is 290......your 279......END OF STORY
-
I did actually have all that on my first raid thanks to my time and effort put into the strikes playlist. How about you farm for loot so that you don't drag down your team with your low dps and armor in a raid based on dps, armor, and communication?
-
Edited by kryple: 10/4/2015 4:53:27 AMRaid light level is 290. 279 wont cut it. Stop bitchin and level up, then try again. You like football? None of them bitch like snarky women when they get bumped for -blam!-ing up or not making shit work, they bust their ass and try harder. Everyone i know had to be minimum 288 light with sniper rifles and lmgs to do enough dps to count.
-
Dont do raids, they are just a waste of times and the new one is boring like hell

Edited by beno355: 10/4/2015 2:45:49 AMMy friend's an i have completed the kings fall raid a few times it's not that hard but requires extremely good team work thats all you don't need special guns like lfg people say sure they help but not essential for successful completion. Team work an team players a must thats it.

watch or read about the fight so u have a general idea. As long u have that im fine with ya joining. but if u didnt even bother to do any of that or get a general idea of what to do then no im not cool with teaching u when theres guides out there. if u want to raid then u need to take the time to learn the fights so ur not a broken leg or have no idea whats going on
-
Nah plenty sherpers out there Just weed through the posts and you will find them And Post you are newbie again plenty of Sherpas are looking for new people Sherpas went away after crotA but they are starting to come back
-
git gud
-
I do agree with you, but I don't be having time like that. I need a team that can get it in 3 hrs or so. Most new people can't. Unless I am desperate. Then you just have to be 295 light with a sniper.
-
I started raising when I was 272 and don't have much problem. Just had to pull more weight of staying alive and making every sniper shot count. The issue here is that team shave poured hours into the raid to learn it and they don't want to spend all day doing one run with a new guy slowing them up. If you got a good clan that would be willing to show you that would be best at this point.
-
2 RepliesYou do need a sniper though, and you can buy a great one from the vanguard. It's not elitism if it's necessary. And snipers are actually necessary in this raid.
-
Join us now, we're at glyphs. No elitists here. Gamertag: fibeto We're on Xbox one
-
15 RepliesI'm by far not an elitist, but our group grinded all to 295 and all had rockets and machine guns before we started trying the raid. Not every group wants to carry people that aren't prepared for the raid. And you most certainly need a sniper for multiple parts.

1 ReplyEdited by Atomic: 10/3/2015 10:12:50 PM293 is reasonable and your light level 279 you have no right to complain about this
-
2 RepliesThe recommended light is 290. Up to the Warpriest, enemies are 280. Golgoroth and Deathsingers are 290. Oryx is 300. Most of us that completed the Raid were at 290+ on our first time, not everyone but most of us. You want to be above 290 by Oryx since he is 300. Plus you're at 279. You're not ready to do it. I would take you at 287+ if it's a fresh run. Golgoroth and beyond you need to be 290+.
-
I don't ask for specific weapons, but a 290 requirement is reasonable. It's no different than asking for level 31's in hard mode crota.
