Advice, start uvhm at 50. I got to 55 before i started. With level 50 gear, i was shredded. You need level matching gear for uvhm but tvhm locks at 50. Grind for legendaries if you want, they work but not as well as they would at a matching level.

Are you saying the enemies max out at 50 for tvhm? I do have both expansions that will let me level to 72.

Sorry, meant to say that whilst 52 is cap in tvhm, it goes up with your level constantly in uvhm. My bad. That means that the max is 74 without using overpower levels. I think the max level of enemies in that case is around 80-90. Didn't do op levels as I couldn't unlock them without being decimated. I only ever played solo or with my family.
