Touch of Malice - let's talk
I'm at 44 fragments - getting the 45th after work. Then the fear mission and BOOM - touch of malice!
Pretty jazzed about it.
For those who have it - what are your thoughts!? Love it, hate it? Did anybody infuse it into another weapon?

It is beast for deathsingers and oryx... Full auto, just pull and enjoy the ride ;) but apart from that i dont really like it that much, maybe just personal preference.

Love it , it really shines in the final part of the raid outside of this it's difficult to get used to but once you get the hang of it it's an awesome weapon. Only keeping 1 though the other two I get will be infusion fodder

I absolutely love it. It is Zeus against the daughters and Oryx himself. Oh my God.

Works very well on Defenders (force barrier, blessing), Sunsingers (flame shield, self rez/radiant skin) and Nightstalkers (invis at low health)

Best risk/reward weapon in the game. Highest possible dps aside from situational black spindle.

Its a very situational weapon I'll say that. Mostly meant to be used on raid bosses. Not for everyday use.

Only good for the sisters and oryx. However, for those fights its invaluable. Last night we killed the first witch straight away and then the second. At oryx we lost 3 people during a run phase because of some nonsense....two of us had malice one had something and we staggered oryx.

Love it! Only the dropped one comes at 310; blue prints are at 280. Wouldn't even consider infusing it, but I also have a great legendary sniper (308) & hmg (304) to pair with it during the raid. It also fires faster than I had anticipated.

It's an absolute monster in everyday pve but it requires a certain play style. Pvp is complete crap and I'd steer away from using it in there.

If you like to sit back then it is best to get rid of the ten rounds and get used to how many shots you can get off without dying.otherwise keep reloading when in close unless u got the drop.the thing is a beast and makes short work of anything and I love it

I need ONE raid fragment to have it. If anybody on xb1 has a jumping ships cp, piston puzzle cp, or gylphs cp, would you be so kind as to share later today? I can aid in clearing stuff if need be, or you can share the checkpoint and I'll be on my way so you can fill your team. Any help is appreciated.

Without the touch of mercy perk it's easy to loll yourself if you're not careful, or at least, make yourself vulnerable. Niche of course is for the daughters and oryx fights. It looks rather strange, perhaps the weirdest looking weapon.

The thing is a beast if you use it right. People that hate it do because they don't watch their health. Just do that and you're golden.

6 RepliesFor Daughters and Oryx fight it's probably the most useful weapon in the game. Just not a practical weapon to use anywhere else. It's strong though, and you might like it, but I find it a burden to use and not worth it for everyday PvE. It either needs to hurt you less, or touch of mercy needs to be redone. Touch of mercy heals a small portion and immediately starts health regen but also immediately gets interrupted by shooting another final round. Does not synergize well with full auto.

2 RepliesIt's incredible! But only at deathsingers and oryx. It's pretty good at using in patrol, but so are a lot of other weapons. No point in pvp at all, unless you use it as an 11 round full auto scout and reload before you start loosing health. But for death singers and oryx there's no competition.

1 ReplyIt's amazing against the daughters and oryx. My team all has it and we killed each daughter first pass with like 15 seconds to spare, and stun oryx immediately. Outside the aura, it's obviously trickier to use, since it drains life. Also not really viable to use to kill Oryx's shade, since your life doesn't regen in once teleported in.
