Because while women underwent a feminist movement that changed the landscape of their sex, men never had the equivalent. There is still the cultural expectation on men to get married and have a family, be the breadwinner, and the like. And instead of either reverting back to housewives or at least helping the men to have a movement of their own, the feminists want to exploit male confusion the best they can to get the best of both worlds. In other words, they want the benefits of a housewife without the responsibilities. Hence if a man gets married and has a family, he is an oppressive patriarchal pig according to the feminists. But if he decides to stay single and rebel against convention, then he is an irresponsible man-child entitled to no respect whatsoever. See the contradiction?
