No, I'm not referencing legacy engrams or faction packages(but even those are shitty). I'm referencing what they said in multiple pre-TTK hype videos, where they hyped up their "new and improved" loot system. Also, I did not get these from doing dreksis or whatever. Check my recent games. Mainly strikes. So please think about what you're going to say or at least read the comments before trying to act all cool.

At least you guys are getting stuff. I've had 1 exotic engram drop from 25 three of coins, and it turned into the warlock chest piece that they previewed before ttk. I've had that and the taikonaut helmet. I havnt played on my warlock or Titan in a couple months. Thanks loot system.

So I see this like this. Players are getting dups as the gear is spread across quest as well as drops. The raid is always going to trow out the general stuff over and over and it's fine. I don't want gear handed out

If you are talking about getting these from engrams those will always be random. However, if you get an exotic from a end drop like nightfall, strike or crucible then you have a chance for something you don't already own. They can not control engrams past the point of ensuring you get an exotic from exotic engrams or legendary from legendary engrams and blue engrams. Hope this clears up alot for people.
