No, I'm not referencing legacy engrams or faction packages(but even those are shitty). I'm referencing what they said in multiple pre-TTK hype videos, where they hyped up their "new and improved" loot system. Also, I did not get these from doing dreksis or whatever. Check my recent games. Mainly strikes. So please think about what you're going to say or at least read the comments before trying to act all cool.

3 RepliesI'm pretty sure the "no duplicate" thing is for packages only. You can still get duplicates from them but the chance are smaller than pre 2.0.

I literally wanted to just dismantle my last exotic chest engram. I just knew it was another Crest of Alpha Lupi. I figured I'd give it a try and wouldn't you know it.... Crest of Alpha Lupi.

Lost count of the number of impossible machines I've picked up. Hmm, I might actually feel more motivated to play if there was more variety. But it seems like it's time to bide my time before Bungie acknowledges a bug in the loot system and fixes it.

Xur week 1 of 2.0 I buy 2 helm engrams I get 2 Skyburner's Annex Next week or 2, I buy a pack of ToC and I farm on draksis. I get a helmet engram. Another god damn -blam!-ing Skyburner's Annex. ALTERED THE LOOT SYSTEM MY -blam!-ING ASS! Edit: when I farmed on draksis, that was after the patch. I got one exotic from 4 kills... BEFORE the patch, I got one gauntlet engram from 10 kills. That's right, 10. I think the patch increased the drop rate for me. Or maybe RNGesus just hates me.

Last week got 3 Monte Carlo,s from engrams. Also got 3 Crests of Alfa Lupi,gave my 4th chest engram to my Warlock to try and avoid getting a 4th Alfa Lupi and it became.....a 4th Alfa Lupi. Also got 2 Hereafters and Hawkmoons on the same day.

I bought 5 of the exotic helmet engrams from Xur trying to get the Graviton and got 3 Celestial Nighthawks and 2 Knucklehead Radars...[spoiler]in the end I got one more after grinding for strange coins and I got the Graviton so not to bad I guess..[/spoiler]

Either I have the worst luck but last 3 exotic engrams have all gave me the young ahamkara arms. I have 3 titans aswell what's the deal with that.

On 4 raid clears 3 pulse rifles 2lmgs 1 rocket launcher 1 shotgun 1 of the raid clears I didn't get anything

I can't get a decent sniper rifle to save my life. The cryptard thinks I need 3 of the same fusion rifle I never use. Worst part is I got it twice in a -blam!-ing row yesterday.

I have received so many duplicates that I kind of forget other weapons/gear even exist. Honestly think they said that to sound good knowing damn well they didn't alter anything.
