I am 14. That is all
Edit 1: To the people saying it was because of the way I acted, some new adults joined our team as 2 needed to leave and I sent a party message saying I'm 14. I then heard an "oh -blam!- no" from the new leader and kicked.

2 RepliesYou'll be fine once your nuts leave your chest cavity
-
6 RepliesNo, you were kicked because you didn't know how to get on the platforms even though we explained it to you countless times!
-
I'd kick you too. . GO kick rocks kid
-
Aha im 14 but i sound 20+ according to previous LFG specimen.
-
25 RepliesDestiny should really be 16+ and strictly that. PSN or Xbox accounts with ages below 16 should be locked out of the game. If a kid plays on a parent account, a new feature for reporting underaged players should be implemented so parent account gets a temp ban unless offense persists then a perma ban is handed out.

Lol I have it easy people think I'm 18 off my voice im really not
-
Why does everyone feel the need to tell everyone their age when they enter the party.
-
Assuming the age was indeed the only factor at play, I find it rediculous but some crowds are tougher than others. In my team we only booted a player once because he was acting stupid in the last phase of Crota (trying to use his super on Crota all the time and getting us killed). We gave him 4 chances before kicking him out, so we are patient. We have taken players from all ages. Taking new comers to Raids usually is very gratifying. Younger kids tend to be so happy and grateful for getting their first high level gear. The positive reaction makes all the patience worth it. A while back my team took my 10-yr old son and his friend to his first VOG and Crota raids. He got Fatebringer on the first run. His reaction was amazing and he was joking the Team Leader was better than Santa Claus. :-) I remember the first time I ran Vault of Glass and I got lucky to be accepted in a team that taught me each step. Paying forward has worked well for me so far and I recommend it.

3 RepliesI play with my 10 year old grandson. He isn't a whiny little brat, very respectful and is extremely smart and picks up concepts quickly. He is better than almost anyone i have seen with similar light levels and weapons. In crucible, he almost always finishes first with a lot more kills than anyone else. I wouldn't think about not fighting with the guy...i am pretty okay at this game and he puts me to shame. He got so good i bought him his own Xbox just so he can play with me instead of when i wasn't playing. All that said, he and i find it difficult to find raids that will take us because his voice hasn't changed yet and people automatically assume he can't play well. I tell him to just stay quiet until he has proven himself....and only speak when asked...but that makes it difficult to communicate which is an important part of the game. Last night we finally got on a raid for Kings Fall normal from beginning to end and we beat it in just over two hours. The guys we played with seemed apprehensive at first playing with him but soon realized he could hold his own. They were good guys and patient with us, but we also did our best to try and keep up, pay attention to their directions, and not worrying about getting calcified fragments or secret chests that would slow everybody down. We were so jazzed to finally get a chance to do the raid and get a couple of pieces of higher level gear. Now we have to start looking for groups again when we can play together again on Thursday....but we anticipate further difficulties even though we both learned a lot from our last raid. For those with an open mind, not everybody is the same and there are some exceptions to the norm out there. Give some a break and try them out if you can....they just might surprise you and if they become difficult then you can kick them. Anybody wanna include us in a clan, we would be happy to try out....we are on Xbox1.

Edited by Phreezer: 10/26/2015 9:08:25 PMSay you're a woman when they ask why you're voice is so high. Don't sing along to youtube videos that you play in the background while we raid together.. Oh and don't make us listen to your youtube videos in the background while we raid together. Consider coming up with better excuse as to why we need to wait for you before we can resume other than "My Mom/Dad is yelling at me" or "My dad says I have to go to bed in 10 minutes".. Try not to tell us about "your friend" that is 320 light level or about any of the activities that "your friend" has done.

Good.

Why send a message that your 14?
-
Welcome to the world of online gaming.
-
I'm 15 and u must have a squeaky voice
-
Don't worry kid, I would do the same thing. My raid groups are all people 20 years or older, the topics of conversation aren't always appropriate for youngins, it may have been for the best that you got kicked. Move on and find another group.
-
Unfortunately, that's the gaming community. Some raid leaders you're glad you found, others you wonder why you wasted your time. Patience is a virtue, especially in a pve oriented game.

6 RepliesWhy did you share your age online with people you didn't know? And us. Were you not taught about stranger danger?
-
Better then getting kicked because your light isnt 300. People forget that they werent 300 once
-
2 RepliesI was 14 once but I had friends that had a good time outside XD

2 RepliesToday I played with a squeaker, yesterday a girl. We wiped tons and couldn't get past golgorath hard or normal. I can't tell you it's THEIR fault, but it was definitely their fault.
-
13 year old with a monotone medium-low voice, some guys thought i was adolescent.
-
stop whining and find another team. no wonder they kicked you.
-
1 ReplyHey bro. I'll deal with a person that is a squeaker as long as they listen. If you need help on a Raid or something. PM my name as above. P.S. I'm not saying you are a squeaker, I'm giving a broad statement.
-
1 ReplyI generally don't play with younger people. With that said, while I am posting for LFG I don't put age requirements. I always give the benefit of the doubt I would never kick you because your 14. I have played with people of your age that have been good and bad, I have also played with people of my age group that have been good for bad. It's just something about hearing a 14 year old talk about banging bitches or calling people -blam!- that really burns me. That's why you would get kicked from my group, not because you die here and there.
-
I would not kick a 14 yr old unless your being dumb. but I would perfer to raid with 19-20+ if a choice is given to me.
-
I don't play with children because your parents make you unreliable raiders.
