Edit: Basically, I take back everything I said, and I think it's the Gjallarhorn for year 2. It's going to be the be all end all weapon for raid bosses. "LFG MUST HAVE BLACK SPINDLE." It's a pattern that is already repeating itself, and I realize my ignorance: [b]Year 1[/b] Xur sells Gjallarhorn week 2. No one has enough strange coins, and people think that heavy is a waste of an exotic slot. Basically nobody gets it other than a few from random drops. It becomes the best DPS weapon in the game for an entire year for bosses and all and is never sold again. Only obtainable through drops. [b]Year 2[/b] A random daily heroic shows up, and it's able to drop a brand new exotic. It's basically an exotic version of an old gun that got nerfed. Nobody is going to be high enough light level to do the mission, or nobody is going to want to waste their exotic slot on an old nerfed gun. This gun I think will go on to be the highest DPS gun for the raids because of how much they rely on stationery sniping positions. I didn't really think [i]too[/i] much when I wrote this post. I think this Daily Heroic won't show up for another 8-10 months, and it will only become a RNG weapon just like Gjallarhorn. [spoiler]I was extremely tired when I write this post, and I just got back from a funeral, so my thinking has been not on the well side. [/spoiler] *Finish Edit* Why waste an exotic slot on it? There used to be a legendary gun that did something better. Sure, they nerfed it, but why are you guys getting excited about an exotic being created that uses a NERFED version of an old gun. You can get a better sniper that has 4-5 in a mag and a faster reload. Since Black Spindle only has 3 in a round, it could be possible to miss a shot, and that wastes ammo and more time reloading than it would with any other sniper.The gun doesn't carry enough ammo as it is due to only having 3 rounds in the mag. What a stupid gun. The only thing I plan on doing with this is to infuse it. I don't have anything to infuse it on because I already have a 310 sniper at the moment.
