Why "Shindig in the Crucible" is the hardest quest ever.
If you're a completionist like me, or if your just curious about this then alright. So if you haven't gotten it yet, there's a quest that Amanda Holliday will give you eventually rewarding you with "The Chaperone". Step 1 is to kill enemies with The Last Word to boost reputation with Tex Machinima. What sucks is that that gun has been nerfed. I mean it's miserable. If you use certain perks, stability is equivalent to Ill Will! You also need over a 1.0 kd ratio or you lose points. I literally cried when my 42% went to 2% in the same match. I am so angry. It's like an arbitrary system. If anyone knows tips on this. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Thanks and have an awesome day!

Tbh i just didnt use TLW. I mained a FR from FWC until heavy. Id use the BTRD when most of it had been used. And then switch to my super. U get like no % from the kills but double and triple kills get u like 10 percent and the killstreaks net u a bunch too. I went from 36% to 100% in two games cuz of a 18 kill streak and a really good snipe game on the venus map.

The last word part isn't hard it's still a great gun and you can get kills with other guns you just have to have it equipped got to 35% in 2 games

This part of the quest is bugged or something. I did 3 kills (multi-kill) and died thanks to a shotgun. Guess what was my net percentage gain: -1%. Yeah minus 1 percent

Just take a day (you may literally need a whole day or more depending on your skill) and go into crucible, equip your last word, and play. But do not look at your quest page at all, not until it pops up as completed on the side of your screen. Don't think about the bounty and you won't get as mad, just think about fun times in the crucible.
