Why "Shindig in the Crucible" is the hardest quest ever.
If you're a completionist like me, or if your just curious about this then alright. So if you haven't gotten it yet, there's a quest that Amanda Holliday will give you eventually rewarding you with "The Chaperone". Step 1 is to kill enemies with The Last Word to boost reputation with Tex Machinima. What sucks is that that gun has been nerfed. I mean it's miserable. If you use certain perks, stability is equivalent to Ill Will! You also need over a 1.0 kd ratio or you lose points. I literally cried when my 42% went to 2% in the same match. I am so angry. It's like an arbitrary system. If anyone knows tips on this. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Thanks and have an awesome day!

That quest is super easy. Chaperone isn't good at all though.

3 RepliesI beat it in 2 games last word still has stupid range and runs through people. I hip fired only then did shotgun in crucible and im just a decent pvp player i snipe and defend but even j could rush and lay people down. Fyi chaperone is just meh

It is so easy, I got it I think in maybe one game(not sure if I had some percentage already filled in or not) but I got it in one game going 27-0 on my titan

Classic 6v6 was easier for me than the new playlists. Probably because of map familiarity, but got the last 75% of my bounty in one match. Did get both heavy drops though...

I had trouble getting it started because at 1st I was trying to only kill with TLW but I did it in a few hrs today(because I started killing with my super, shotgun etc) Now I need to do the strike part(gunna be hard to get matchmade with a team that can do it)

Just hang in the back and get killstreaks and multikills with your super when the heavy drops

The last word is still amazing and really fun to use in the crucible.

Don't ADS, last word can still put in work from the hip, don't forget all other kills (special, heavy, super) will give you percentage as well so long as you have TLW equipped. I also recommend playing a 3v3 playlist. Easier to hold your own in smaller match types in my opinion.

I used the year 1 last word. While finishing up my exotic bounty for the Faction class item in Crucible, I decided to do this quest. The whole quest only took me 3 hours to finish (from the last word part to the final strike). My gun will arrive next reset apparently.

2 RepliesI got from 32% to 94% in one game just play rift and find a camping place. Or you could not have last word equipped at first when heavy comes and you have super equip last word use heavy and super u equip last word rinse repeat.

Played really defensive and my biggest percent lost was from about 75% to 72%

Yeh I'm ha ing trouble too,got it up to 50% then it went back down to 38%...I'm just gonna try equipping it for supers and heavy and see how I go. Clearly it's easy for good players because they go on streaks and get medals anyway, I only do that shit every once in a while or when I'm having a good day, so I guess I gotta git gud

I am a scrub pvp'er. I did it in 7ish games. Just pick and choose your battles.

I suck with the last word, only hand cannon I have a hard time using...not sure why. I did use it to infuse my fabian strategy.

Play classic 6v6, it's a lot easier to get kills, be patient you'll get there! (: Oh and also make sure to try your best to get killstreaks those killstreaks will boost your % up fast. Listen to some good music, trust me everything goes faster when you got a good song to listen too. You don't have to get kills with the last word, you just have to have it equipped. Try hipfiring, lots of people have told me that hipfiring makes the Last word easier to get kills with. Good luck! (:

Did it in about 6 games, wasn't really that hard

The quest is about renown, streaks and medals, head shots and supers give more increase than a one-shot to the toe of a burning enemy. A friend got it in one game after they run out of medals for him.

2 RepliesI'm mediocre at best in the crucible. I got it done in about half a dozen games. I was way more cautious than normal and just picked my battles. Avoided the large firefights.
