Why "Shindig in the Crucible" is the hardest quest ever.
If you're a completionist like me, or if your just curious about this then alright. So if you haven't gotten it yet, there's a quest that Amanda Holliday will give you eventually rewarding you with "The Chaperone". Step 1 is to kill enemies with The Last Word to boost reputation with Tex Machinima. What sucks is that that gun has been nerfed. I mean it's miserable. If you use certain perks, stability is equivalent to Ill Will! You also need over a 1.0 kd ratio or you lose points. I literally cried when my 42% went to 2% in the same match. I am so angry. It's like an arbitrary system. If anyone knows tips on this. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Thanks and have an awesome day!

The last word is still very op, just don't try to snipe across the map with it.

Tlw is till powerful. It still reaches far even when ads if you pace shots. I get kills cross map.

I did mine by getting 25-30 kills with only 6-8 deaths in 6 matches. Once i was 90% i did kind of bad in 1 match and brought me down to 30%. But i finished it already.

I used to run TLW a lot pre nerf and consider myself a pretty good Pvp player so the quest was decently easy for me.

1 ReplyAll about streaks. 5 kill streak. 10 kill streak. Only has to be equipped. Wait for heavy in rumble with a machine gun and game over for this quest.

I just sat back and sniped with my 24 round LDR Was pretty tough though. Kill streaks help a ton.

It's really easy I got it in 3 or 4 games just play it safe on a objective type game

Take it into rumble where TLW shines best. There are a lot of 1v1 up close situations where TLW will win out 90% of the time. Just check corners and don't hug the walls you should be. Then teabag every shotgun douche as he rages at the supremacy of tlw in cqc.

It sucked ass but only took me 3 games after a game of 6v6 and gaining 0% I went into skirmish and had it in 2 games. 21-4 18-7?really really easy

I was actually surprised to get this quest done in like 3 or 4 matches. Getting steaks and medals give you a boost and any kill counts not just kills with TLW.

3 RepliesI really enjoyed using The Last Word for this bounty. You just have to play aggressively and learn how to hip fire it. I had it done in 3 Rift matches. It'll be my next purchase from the blueprints.

You had to get 500 points (100 kills) with a void weapon, and every death you lost a percentage of progress. The only primary with void was Word of Crota, a hand cannon, and you were lucky if you got that. Plus there was the mission on the moon which was ridiculously hard. Amanda Holiday quest was probably one of the easiest out by far.

The gun is op if used correctly. Hip fire and land head shots. You will get used to it

Try doing the thorn bounty with only a rare sniper

You don't have to use the last word, you just need it equipped, special heavy and ability kills all count as long as it's equipped.

I absolutely hate The Last Word. By far the most useless exotic primary in my opinion, especially after the nerf. That being said, I completed the first part of this quest in about 5 matches. Try it on zone control, I found that to be the most effective. Also, your ability kills count as well as long as you have TLW equipped, so use those as often as possible.
